Try a Marbles credit card, I've had no problems with them and get cash back every year. You also get to choose the colour of the marble on your card, which is the best bit!

barclays are fookin tossers aswell, and Ive never owed them money, but instead the opposite. They have sticky fingers where they like to hold onto your money for a couple days for no apparent reasons. Took two visits to make sure the ***** stopped doing that.

Just had the same thing, only had £50 on the card (filled up with diesel and realised I didn't have my debit card on me) and then completely forgot about it. Missed the payment date and got a snotty letter reducing my credit limit. I'm not exactly bothered, I've since cleared the balance and apart from that £50, I haven't used the damn thing in nearly 2 years since I realised the interest rates are diabolical.
