CAN THEY DO THIS...?

That just makes my blood boil - I hope I don't get pulled on the way back from work or I'll be likely to go off on one at them. Well done for making a complaint - hopefully that will make him think again. Looking forward to hearing how you got on.
I want to echo the sentiments of many on this post - I have the utmost respect for most of the police force, but individuals who give the force a bad name need to be pulled into rank to stop the rot in the public perception.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLTTTTTTTTTTTT
Saw the offending PC's inspector (Who just happened to be passing by ) who listened to my case. All of it without interuption!
Called the said copper in from home and the other two rozzers who were in the Panda with him.
Ended up with the two new Rozzers siding with me, stating how "suprised" they were when offending PC reached out and flicked the lights on for no apparent reason.
The two new coppers said that they were ......get this......ADMIRING the car So whats the net result?
PC Pillock gets a bollocking infront of me and his underlings but informed that the incident will NOT go on his record The producer is expired and I recieve an apology from Pillock with a written apology from the inspector following in the post to confirm that the producer has expired.
Now I know that this seems to be unusual given the way coppers have to do things by the book, but I think that I was lucky enough to have an "old school" inspector who sorted the problem out there and then.
Top bloke if you ask me. Could have ended up with "Mr by the book" and 3 months later still be getting nowhere!
Here's seeing if I can ever move my car more than 2 miles without being stopped!
Any comments?
Mikey

And the man from Del Monte, he say "YYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Re "My word vs your word": I seem to remember that a magistrate stated he would rely on the policeman's word in some case or other, just because he was a policeman. Court of Appeal threw it out saying that this was totally against the principle of burden of proof.
Well done Mikey!

My brother got pulled for racing a Perfect Pizza moped off the lights in a Cerbera 4.5!!! He pointed out that this was most unlikely as it was hardly fair competition ( Ferrari or Scooby maybe) Turned out the copper was Special (or part time copper) and finally ending up like a drooling five year old wanting to see under the bonnet, "how fast does it go, blimey" "cor look at all that leather" "where does the key go???" anyway wasted about 10 minutes and let him go.

Well done!
People who abuse their power really (REALLY) p**s me off - in any walk of life. They usually get what's comimg to them one day, as you've proved. It'll be a while before he pulls anyone else for no good reason. Result.

well done Mikey. Have to say that they do come up with some silly excuses for pulling ya. I was in a car last week coming back from a night out, driver was sober all night, we were in a ordinary run of the mill car, and we got pulled. Breath test producer the lot. When driver asked why he was stopped plod replied that "cause you were doing 30 mph". Hardly surprising that the limit was 30, u just cant win.
