evening everyone, enjoyed the run
andy , the thieving bar stewards, i could do with bumpinginto them now the mood i'm in:mad
i actually did part of dai's route second guessing where you had gone but before that i'd got to the ***, then back towards wrexsam and on the crewe road and up the a49, at which point i'd had enough
don't know were the paul got to in the silver estate
i think he was a bit dissapointed
justin, i'm trying a few lowenbrau's (pure munich brew)
and they seem tobe working
i'm feeling chilled already
don't look at that golf, you'll only have nightmares
as above, get some lowe's down you neck
sleep tight

Great run out today lads thanks once again for organising it. I really do love them roads especially the one on the way to the reservoir. My highlight had to be that woman shouting at john that her pub was a pub and not a carpark the stupid old thing forgot her cappark had a load of gypsies in there though.
Thanks to Si and Andy S though your the only one,s who remembered

Had a suberb day today - those roads are cracking especially the single track just after Pentrefoelas - have to have another run next summer when it's dry.
Sorry to hear about your news Andy - hope the kids are OK.
Excellent turnout and hope everyone got back OK.
See you all soon for the next one - Happy Christmas!

Couple of points to note about today:
1/ There were too many of us
2/ Whoever changed the radios frequency over on one group, should have told the other group when we all got together.
3/ There were too many of us
It's always a bit of pressure organising a run, think of a route, check it, check it again, fine tune it, throw in some good stops, and some petrol stops. Then hope someone else wants to come along. I didn't envisage so many being able to come out today, as Alan says, xmas money is mostly spent, so using some for extra fuel is always going to be a problem for some. But, in their droves they came It was great to see so many new faces today, and most of them haven't got access to amita, so I'll post this on scoobynet too. I hope we looked after them well. Due to the numbers of course, someone is always going to get left behind at some point, and there is only so long you can wait in a convoy of over 10+ cars for people bringing up the rear. We did try a couple of times, but we still lost a few
The radio issue could have helped out there, but even then, not everyone had one, so people would of still got lost. I think one suggestion would be to hand out simple instructions of the route you're taking. I had a list of the roads and junctions on my passenger seat, as a backup in case my sat-nav crashed, this could be used to give everyone a basic idea of where we're going. However, the best way to run these events is a smaller group, but from experience, there is no sight to beat the rear view mirror look of 25+ scoobys following you down the evo triangle, and I'm sure you were all thrilled to be part of that convoy today
That's it for this year, and as a close, I'd like to say a big thanks to all of you for attending and helping and organising stuff throughout the year. Lets see how good we can make 2007!
Chris.

Mrs Evans and Mrs Brady Not Happy
Well what can I say?
I met my dear friend Mrs Brady at the Old School House for a quite Sunday lunch and a rowdy lot of Subaru car owners turned up and spoilt our day.
We couldnt believe how you young men get away with driving your noisey cars around my quite country roads.
Mrs Brady thought she had left all that noise and pollution in Knutsford, but no you all followed her.
I have informed the vicar of my concerns and he is going to bring it up at the next Parish Council about fitting speed bumps in the car park.
