aiming for the Saturday the 9th but will be weather depending. timewise i guess about 1pm should give ample time to get plenty of shots before it gets too dark. then if we are still in the modd for photo's a few darker ones in a car park somewhere.

There is a massive graffiti wall in Chelmsford somewhere ( Very colourfull) Im sure one of the jap mags used it when featuring a few of the ABW Cars , Im sure that either Dal or Wilf will be able to help you find the exact location , If you were to visit there i would be intrerested in a photo shoot @ this location as well

Gas Works car park in chelmsford has a wall like that but changes from week to week

i know the gas works. iirc some of the shots for the mag were taken on the roads around there.

i think graffiti works really well so would like to go for the gas works. also chelmsford has hylands park for so greenery shots.

how many people have we got coming with cameras? we may be able to extend the number of people or we can organise another day.

i have a car mount, but one i prefer to keep hold of the camera with. used it to get the aston pics in the car park.

i can bring a laptop to download shots to, to check out focus, exposure etc. nothing more annoying than getting home to find out the shot isn't as sharp as you thought by looking at the screen on the back of the camera.

bonus with having more than one camer is different people will get differnt looks and exposures that may work better than others. roll on the 9th!!

Wrx yank - will sort you out some directions and let you know where to meet us. if we do go to chelmsford, it shouldn't take you long to get there.

Just discovered that I'll have my little girl with me on the day. She loves being around the Scoobies but if she gets bored I might have to leave early. Everyone bring sweets to keep her happy. No blue smarties though for god's sake

not closed a such - just that i think if there are too many cars we may not get that many shots in of each car. i'll be wanting to do another one though and 100% want to do a night shoot. plus i know Dave_68 wants to do another shoot and can't make this one.

btw - if anyone wanted to spend a few quid and do a studio shoot i have been looking into prices. lighting is supplied along with a studio assistant. not sure about background material but i can ask. cost would be as little as £30 each depending on how many takers we had. this studio is in barking but there are cheaper ones if we were prepared to travel a bit, but then the fuel cost may outweigh the studio saving. let me know.
