Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival
Sunday 3rd December
Meeting at Thurrock Services @ 10.30am
This two day festival takes place every year in Rochester (Kent). Street entertainers, christmas market, carol singers and a candelit parade with costumed characters and festival participants, that finishes at Rochester Castle where there is snowfall
Chris (97Cataluyna) and I are hoping to go along ......anyone else want to join us? Thought it might be a nice ESC family outing to get us all into the festive spirit.
Parking gets a bit busy for this weekend but there are a few park & ride places near by....one being at the Dockside Outlet Centre (shopping time ladies!
)
Best place will be to meet at Thurrock Services as that is on route / easy for all to get too. As for time, suggest meeting around 10.30am to give us time to get down there and get parked and get into the town......?

the snow is not going to look so good in the rain shame its so miserable today......an excuse to shelter in the pub with some mulled wine me thinks
hopefully will mean we can park easier?!
