Jay i got there about 8-30 ( before Zak ) mainly as i never knew how long it'd take to find. We finished with plug change and mapping by 4pm (took a while to get the factory lambada sensor back) So yeah it's really a whole day thing.

 

havent looked at this section for a while. is there another group buy planned or can more ring up and book at the same price?

They are being sent tomorrow so hopefully Wednesday, gonna leave it with Zak for two days, one day to fit headers, pink injectors and turbo, then the next day for mapping

Ehhh! Mines not done, there is an issue with the flashing back my ROM as it uses a different kernel version to Impreza's....still waiting for the developer to write some code...

I went on saturday, bit of a dissapointment. First of all Zak had a look to see which spark plugs were fitted, he then plugged in his laptop into the car and it was reading 14. He told me a Happy car should be running 16. He told me that this was down to only running the car on unleaded. We then took it up the road to see what bhp is was pushing out standard. What a dissapointment that was, only 180bhp!! I was told that having the remap done wouldnt make a lot of difference, only around 10bhp. He said it would feel crisper but no big changes to the way the car drives. I didnt have the remap done as i wasnt prepared to spend £490 on 10bhp! Does any of you other boys that have had the remap run yours on normal unleaded?????

 

If you have a look at my stats, my wrx only increased by around 10bhp (204.2 to 213.5 at the wheels) but it's a completely different animal.
It pulls so hard from 3k you'd think it had another 50bhp.

I run mine on Tesco SuperUnleaded though.
