If that isn't suitable, have a word with Zak at Mocom. He is very approachable and you may be able to come to some arrangement so you don't miss out.

you would need to check with Zak as Ecutek flashed ecu's are locked i think.

I have just answered this same question on SIDC.

Here is Zaks response:

If someone has an ECU that has previously been mapped and now needs updating due to further modifications (ie not a full remap) then I can do this at a rate of £55/hr however this cannot be undertaken as part of the group buy.

Something else to note, an ECU that has been modified by Ecutek in the last six months or so will be locked out from me altogether, the only option open to anyone in this situation is to return the Ecutek agent that carried out the work.

Has anyone had anything other than ECU mapping done at Mocom?
I'm tempted to get a lot more done before the remap (turbo etc)

Frayz has had a lot of work done by Mocom.

I think a few other members of the ESC have also used him for other things too. Haven't heard any bad reports.

I think it depends what other mods you might have or will have done at the same time. I have passed on your question to Zak and I will post his reply.

you will be pleasantly suprised with what your standard car could do with just a remap. It will work better with a better exhaust backbox and air filter though and would be on a par with PPP i would think.

Cool, I've already got the full PPP exhaust and hopefully I'll have the Revolution Apollo induction kit (when it's passed for fabrication) so I'm toying with the idea of new turbo and assoc. mods. However, if Zak only charges £55/hour for further remaps I may just get the remap on my current spec and see how I get on with just 260-270bhp

"With the stock exhaust, peak bhp numbers will be similar to a PPP equipped WRX, the small turbo and exhaust dictate this, however driveability will be much improved."

Evez I'd be interested in comparing figures with you. I've got the full PPP exhaust fitted (but the up pipe is the standard one). The only other thing is the induction kit. As Zak does a power run before the remap it will be interesting to see how much improvement (if any) the Apollo kit makes.
