They're ripping you off for the block adapter.
The adapter and the braided hose (so you can still have the oil light on your dash) combined cost me £25.
£2 for the block adapter, £20 for the braided adapter.
Looks like this is where they're 'including' the postage cost

You could have these today if you want - no waiting, no fuss and at virtually the same price (Dropped the price to £500)

Callum.............I think Gaz is suggesting someone should buy yours rather than go down the GB route to get stung paying Customs charges etc. Like he says yours are available immediately..........no hassle pays your money gets your goods

Pull out of the GB Gaz and buy these. You get a nice pod with these too so even more saving.

If these were the blue faced ones I'd have snapped your hands off at £500.00. Shame. They'll go at that price!

Good point.... his post was edited and i re-read it wrong.

My bad - sorry

I've edited my post to remove the obvious point that mine won't have an import duty as the're here

... plus I'm taking a £50 loss on selling these on by reducing my price

Default Sorry to Barge in

Callum sorry mate ive just waited 5 weeks for the same set up (customs) but can I ask with the guages and the control unit what did you have to buy extra to fit?
I know the pod is extra and where did you get it from? Cheers.

I got mine as 3 guages and pre-painted pod

The extra bits I needed were PTFE (plumbers) Tape, the block oil adapter so the sensors fit into the block and I got the optional braided pipe that lets the original sensor remain separately which lets you keep your dashboard oil warning light

Mines a complete kit ready to fit (but I need the tape for my new flat, but Robert Dyas or any hardware shop sells it for about 50p)

But you've got extras as mentioned earlier in this post,

P&P, VAT, Import duty, oil sandwich plate, braided hose to keep dash oil pressure light and the pod.
So all in all i think these are a very good price! If my gauges weren't green i snap them up.

Cheers sherlock ...
Yup - this is the very basic setup with no pod and you lose the dash oil light.
His basic set are 440 + duty

If duty is 17.5 (VAT?) then they work out as:
£400 x 1.175 = £515

..... then add the extras

It's nowhere near my price - plus mine are here now and you don't have the arseache of hunting and waiting for the other bits

So you won't be wanting mine then.
Yet another timewaster

Ok peeps - if you want them then a deposit is now required.

Don't blame me, blame the people that say they want them ... then "I cant pay right now... can you wait until the end of the month" ... then dissapear off the radar.

£50 deposit (by PayPal) and then £450 cash on receipt

... no offers

I suggest you don't give up the reading lessons just yet.

When i sent you a PM saying i couldn't cancel the order from the U.S, therefore couldn't buy yours, i took it you understood there would be no sale.

I guess it's a way to keep your thread at the top

Dude - I've had about 4 or 5 people want them ... right up to the payment point and then backed out.

I even offered to drive them down to Lymington on Easter Bank Holiday as I was kinda in the vacinity, but that fell through too.

I think I may just chuck them on eBay, then at least it's a legal agreement for sale
