Just hope you don't ever suffer a disability or have to care for anyone who does..I would hate to have to be considerate towards you.

Taking up two spaces near the shop is taking the **** and you deserve a keying. But park that way at the other end of a large 3/4 empty car park and that wouldn't bother me.
If I ever see someone doing it and I'm in my old clunker I park half way across the next space so I'm 2" from his door. Bet that pisses them off when they come out!
Our new Safeways, only been open 2 weeks, has the normal 50 disabled spaces (only ever one or two in use), the normal 50 mother and kids spaces. But also, a bit further away from the door, a row of "comfort spaces" which are space and half width for anyone to use. Cool or what?

Be more considerate
I'm a mother with a young baby and the mother and baby spaces are always taken by inconsiderate people without children, leaving me struggling to get my baby out of his car seat with an inch of space between my car and the car parked next to me. It really helps to be able to open the door fully when getting car seats out, also the mother and baby spaces are nearer so you can get into the shop quicker, especially handy when it's p!ssing it down with rain and you've got a newborn baby.
Sorry to rant, but before I had kids I never really appreciated how important mother and baby spaces are.

Did you use them prior to becoming a mother though?

Pesonally I don't care about disabled/parent/child spaces, I never use them as I'm at the other end of the car park away from all the proles and their door dinging Anyway, parking in a parent/child/disabled space could well attract someone to knock their trolley into your car if they think you're being selfish.

I had to go to the hospital the othder day at its peak cars looking for parking spaces period. Even though they had 100's of spaces could I find anywhere, could I f**k. It was mayhem, at 1 stage I saw an OAP having a ding dong with a young lad cause he got into a parking space they both wanted. I thought he was going to deck him
Anyway after 20 minutes I was still driving round and fuming by this stage. I would have quite happily parked up between 2 Hummers. Then on top of that you have to pay and display WTF, where have my taxes been going, people dont visit hospitals out of choice !

I have a disabled relative, I could not care less if the disabled spaces are the nearest to the entrance of the supermarket or the furthest away - once she is in her wheelchair I can push her for miles. I park in a disabled space because I need to open the car door as wide as possible and then get the wheelchair along side and try and lift her into it, she weighs about nine stone and cannot stand or walk unaided plus has limited use of her arms so cannot assist in any way. Imagine how hard it is (might as well be lifting a nine stone bag of potatoes by myself) and then imagine how much harder it would be if I couldn't get the car door open properly because some selfish git decided that their car was so much more precious than everyone elses.

It really made me smile a few weeks ago to see the idiot who had parked in a disabled space without a badge leaning on the bonnet of his car waiting for the clamper to come back and relieve him of a few ££ for being an inconsiderate plonker.
I've also seen them clamp cars parked in child spaces without car seats in the back.

You've given me an idea though - I'll install a child seat in my own car now

Maybe all these inconsiderate ******** can just order their crap off the web, that way no one will dink their cars and they won't get clamped!

same at the sainsburys in the center of leic. they have put the wider spaces at the far end of the carpark, which i think is better.
I dont park in either, wouldnt want to park in a disabled as its not on, they need the space due to their disability. Parent spaces, would like to park in them, as having children is a choice you make, but wouldnt park in them as i would worry what people think!
I just tend to do teh same as others, park miles away and take up 2 spaces, although i wouldnt do that in a pay carpark as you get snooty letters and stuff!

The only time i parked in a disabled space i got a ticket. I was in a rush and didn't see the sigh. No markings on the space. just missed it 100% My own fault and accept the punishment.
I won't park in the spaces. I do park in the drop off bay though and go do my shopping.... but that tends to be midnight!
