The record so far between me sending a reminder e-mail and someone using the wrong address is 2 hours.
We implement systems for third parties and if an exception is generated a nice form pops up with an option to e-mail us with the full error (executing path etc).

We had some **** take a picture of the form (without all the useful stuff) and e-mail that to us

It's amazing how you can cut the volume of support calls by offshoring your support desk!

It's all the same out there!!!! Strange relief felt, and as someone said >>a fool and his data are soon parted...<< and then the crying starts!

I should mention I'm a TV Producer type, not an IT professional; I am however the closest thing this company has to on-site support and show new staff the ropes. Proper IT support is subcontracted to off site company but doesnt look like having them there 24/7 would help much, they'll still dial manually as they are too busy making TV programmes to use Outlook properly
