I actaully bought the same camera as yours and had all the bracket ready to go and dropped the bloody thing straight down on the concrete floor, needless to say the glass lens protector didn't like it !!
So when looking for a new camera i then found this one. Then i thought about mounting it higher and it is already at the right angle, so fitment was very easy after fabrication of the bracket.
Hopefully being higher up it may not pick up as much road dirt, but time will tell.

Hi
I have a MY03 WRX that I am looking to put a Kenwood DVD headunit in and will also installing a reversing camera.
On a different note we also have a Nissan Navara with sat nav in. I have been looking to install a camera on this as there are AV plugs under the drivers seat.
My question is, did you use an AV switcher to change the inputs to your screens? If so which one did you use?
Thanks

I have a CarPc fitted spikester with a 4 port capture card. So mine is software controlled to which camera i want to look at. Albeit i have only the one camera fitted.
Best way to test it is to perhaps use a video camera output and see how you can change inputs etc to the SatNav system.

mine's a simple double din dvd player off ebay (altough i have seen it sold elsewhere for more money), which has a "cam" input so it automatically switches when i select reverse. i only have one cam though, unlike tissy who has "permieter cctv"

i've seen those monitors, but never seen one working so decided to stick with the simplest option

Ok... Change of plan. I now need a very discreet but top spec camera and real time recorder. I want to film everything that happens from the dashboard forward. maybe simple SD card mem etc as I will download if required any info that I want.

Seamaster - Send me an email with what application you need this for as i may be able to assist.
I have gone for a similar approach as the cameras are linked to the PC i record that way. Also my recording software performs a time/date and speed overlay which is also recorded.
I may have secured a deal where i can get the cameras i have used in the rear for £40 a piece. Are people interested just so i can gauge it ?

Just got mine in yesterday. A friend made the bracket. The picture automatically changes to the camera once reverse is engaged
Can't say as I'd rely on it if my mirrors fell off, but its another gadget though.
