I have a OE DV on mine. Sometime the re-circ pipe is kinked, due to the layout. I'm not convinced that no dv = going quicker.

Wouldn't just disconnecting and bunging up the vacuum line, to stop the d/v opening give the same effect? Just to give it a try.

Almost. Although the dv does tend to Pst a tiny little bit at V high load/revs.
certainly the way to go if just testing out the theory.
I can only vouch for the fact it works on my garrett core though.
Wouldn't like to speculate whether it's fine on an IHI or VF though.

hi,
tried this out and as above the VTA does ppptisssssssssh on high load but no chatter so looks like mite need to blank off on the intercooler
