Fcukin hell, does no one walk to school to pick up their kids these days, especially if you had enough time to spare to get there early and find the best parking spot. Bit your kid is really fat isn't he

Stop being such a lazy ****, leave the car at home, and have a nice stress relieving walk. Perhaps you could even stop by the park on the way home for a kick about with your son, help him lose some of that blubber he's gained from being ferried everywhere by car. Could save both you and him from a coronary in years to come as you'd have less stress and more exercise

First of all mate, you dont know how far the school is - admittedley a lot of kids nowadays dont walk like they used to. But times have changed, people lead busier lives and i certainly wouldn't want my kid walking to school with all the weirdo's knocking about these days.

Oh and keep the personal insults off a public forum eh mate or are you just trolling???

Well flippin cycle if it's that far then or get the bus

And as for the "oh my little cherub musn't be walking the streets because of all the paedos out there...", same amount of weirdos around these days as when I was a kid. Just our beloved gutter press to thank for blowing it out of all proportion as usual. 99.99999% of the people that inhabit this country are normal, law abiding citizens.

Surely getting the bus is defeating the object of exercise!!! and cycling ok fair comment - but if it were me and dropping the kid off meant he was least likely to get hurt/attacked/runover then i would do it, now i'm not for one minute saying we should wrap them up in cotton wool (it never did me any harm) but times have changed, peoples lives have got busier and dare i say it the car is more convinient.

Its only natural for parents to keep their kids as safe as possible and there is nothing wrong with that

Why not just park a few streets away and walk the rest? Saves on all the agro. You do NOT NEED to park just outside the school gates with all the other school runners.

I agree on that score - i'd hate to live opposite a school.
I work opposite one and if we get a delivery after 3pm or whenever they finish its a bloody nightmare.

Some of you are missing the point and have gone off on some stupid tangent!!!

CW42 got to the school early and parked the car safely and considerately.

Why should he not have bothered and got the bus???

Surely your comments should be aimed at the RAV4 driver who just dumped his car??

Stick to the issues in the first post, don't start prattling on about some other tosh

Like that's ever going to happen within the General or NSR sections. It's beyond many user's comprehension to make a constructive and positive contribution

All 3 of the above are right:

Some of the milfs are amazing
RAV4 drivers are ***** by default
Scoobynet is not the place for reasoned debate

Did exactly the same when I was 19 and owned a Chevette. Wasn't much bovvered about it cos the bumper was hanging off anyway. So when I came back to the car to find rusty old Mini was blocking me in, i just gave it 2 or 3 hefty nudges to create a bit more room, and drove off !!

Let 'em get fat, stupid then die.
We need a fat underclass to do all the ****ty jobs we don't want to do surely!

Apparently, according to New Scientist last month : Fat = Thick

Bit of a sweeping generalisation there but it got me thinking:

How many Brainy Fat Knackers am I aware of vs Brainy Thin Gimps

STARTER for 10 (of each)
