Dyney,

Any ideas on the cost of the inserts for the STi disc?
if I am going to do this conversion I might as well go the whole hog but need to know the full costs.

Wahey, 2 shiney pairs of brembo calipers arrived on the door mat this morning
Whats the score on the discs dyney? Are they a special/custom job or does one fit from another model. Any contact details for that As performance?
Thanks steve.

I'am waiting on a revised price for the inserts.
Won't be till Monday at the earliest now

Also looking into "another option" for the std STI discs with the Brembos (it might be more expensive but I won't know untill I get the price back).

GB still on

Are we still going to need 10 people for this to go ahead?
(Still in by the way)

Hi Dyney,

Have you any news on the costs of those inserts yet, or the alternative method you were coming up with, I presume this was likely to be shoes with thicker linings ?
Either way I need to know the costs please.

Guys I suspect it will be quicker to join the other GB as we will never get the 10 required to keep the costs down now that Godspeed are doing a cheaper alternative
Using the larger shoes for the handbrake in the Brembo kit is a much better solution to an insert and cheaper too.

I only continued to run the GB's as no-one had the dimensions of the bracket required and the machine shop would not deal with anyone else

I'm glad Ian has started offering the conversion as it means I can stop doing the running around
