Then a special adhesive is applied.

Then the dash is Electrostatically charged, the flock (tiny nylon fibres i think) is also electrostatically charged. This is then sprayed if you will at the dash and the charging causes it to stick to the dash and stand on its end. The charging also ensures you get an even coat etc.

The annoying part of this is when you see something like this which is so different you cant do it yourself for fear of looking like your copying

I was thinking leather covered could look good if done PROPERLY, to match the leather retrim i have in my mind.
