Manna from heaven, he's a copper! You use your own 'con' with his tribe and make him look a proper idiot.

That's what I was going to say. But add that he's far too deviant for you at the moment.

I'd make up a profile on a gay dating website making it to look like your friend's site. Get a picture of a bloke in uniform, blank out the face.

Then find some way of planting the website so one of his colleagues finds it. Nothing rude or graphic, and don't do if from your own computer.

call the local mortuary and report him dead.
Arrange to have "the body" picked up when he's in.

Go to your local pox clinic and give one of the young slappers 50 quid to name him then wait for the appointment letter to arrive.

i had this one a little while ago from my cousin, who actually didn't realise it was a virus in an email he'd sent me, it sent the email to everyone in my outlook address, including my work and other official email addresses, iirc i got an email from Barclays or something saying"I think we've got this email in error, if not please don't send emails with offensive language"etc, check your sent messages and hopefully it will only be to a few people.

You need to do something to him while you are away as he wont expect anything because you arent officially "aware" of what he has done.

If he is in the force, couldnt you get a colleague to "plant" something in his locker and do a pretend "youre nicked sunshine" trick?

You could even draft up a spoof letter from his bank saying..
Dear Mr .....,
we regret to inform you that unusual large cash sums have been debited from your current account on the following dates and gives us reason to believe you maybe the target of fraudsters.

02/10/2006 Debit to *paycom* £320.89
03/10/2006 Debit to *adultxxxs* £487.12
03/10/2006 Debit to *nutscom* £222.34
05/10/2006 Debit to *paycom* £542.89

As your account is now considerably overdrawn please could you call into your nearest branch for investigation.
Please be aware that due to the National Banking Association Act 1982 <make some law act up> we unfortunately wont be able to reinburse you the lost funds if defaulted by criminal activities but we can offer to provide you insurance to protect against possible future attacks please ask in your local branch for a quotation.

Yours faithfully

You can copy and paste the banks logo onto the top of the letter and add the local branch address, then post it to him and wait until you hear from him saying how he dashed frantically to the bank for them to say eh what you on about (hopefully the bank will be full of people for extra embaressment)

You can also do similar for council tax, fuel bills and anything else that comes to mind

you say he's a copper, what OCU?, if he's on airwave as opposed to METradio, perhaps someone(not me of course!) could go on the same channel and do a vehicle check on his motor at a location far from where he is whilst he's on duty. He'll hear it and need to do something, perhaps the calll could be something like("Mike Delta Mike Delta from XXXXX can I have a vehicle check on an abandoned vehicle on xxxxx street its parked on a red route unattended and is full of gay magazines on display which may cause offence to any public who may see, perhpas a rems unit could come and remove the vehicle?") that way he would hear it and think his car was not only somewhere where it shouldn't be, but full of offensive material, and was about to get towed away! what would he do, get on the dispach channel and say it was his and its not supposed to be there and the material wasn't his? or keep quiet and live in fear that his car had been stolen, and have to wait till he had a chance to find out if his car was were he left it?)
a bit mean I know but hey, it may just work, he may realise that you are getting him back for his wind up, but having his car full of offensive material on a red route about to get moved on his teams dispach channel for everyone to hear may make him think twice about playing jokes on you!!!!

"Listen guys, I have just realised that I am gay. I have been living a lie all my life and feel I can trust you all enough to come out to you. Don’t worry I am not attracted to any of you but I have someone at work who I have become very close to, if you know what I mean.
Anyway, I will be home at the weekend and hopefully you will come out with me for drinks and a talk. Dionne [my wife] knows and has done for some time, even since before Ella [my daughter] was born, she is fine about it and we will work through the issue with hopefully no more pain"

Fair play to him, it's a belter, but I now need serious retribution. I am working away from home now and he probably doesn't realise that I can access my home email from work, so he probably doesn't know that I know what he is up to.

Any suggestion on how to get the ****** back?

btw I have had some responses from my mates, and i't good to see that they are good friends. Some responses:

"I think that it is incredibly brave and open of you to come out. Obviously it makes no difference to the way I think of you, you’re still my mate – it changes nothing. Obviously you may face some ‘challenges’ in the coming weeks and any support / help myself or my family can give you we will. Chin up, take care."

"Right 1st of all – I’m not sure if this is a joke or not – or if someone has got hold of your machine for a while or something???
Secondly - if it is the case then I have to say that there are absolutely no worries from me or for that matter any of the lads. If you want us to go out for a few bevies either up in Glasgow or down the road give us a shout, but mate – nae bother. Well done for getting that monkey off yer back.
Thirdly – what do you mean your no attracted to me!!!??"

Come on Scoobynet...he needs to be punished for this....
Put up a website with his name, photo, tel. no, extreme gay preferences etc. Explain he's using your name as a pseudonym, "accidentally" send a copy of his registration for "poop-shoots online" to his colleagues containing the link.

You have digital photos of him? Photoshop can be a good friend

Why not just ignore it. Its a lot easier and less likely to cause unpleasantness.

I wonder if he plays "jokes" like that when he's working too? If someone brought my wife and kid into it, I wouldn't see the funny side at all.

Well I can see the funny side of it
He is great mate, know him for more years that I care to imagine. He has know my wife just about as long and my daughter thinks of him as an uncle. I have no issues with what he has done other than the fact that he has stitched me up wonderfully and I need him to pay

He's now expecting you to reap your revenge instantly, the longer you don't do it, the more twitchy & paranoid he'll get. Nothing worse than disbelieving everything & relentlessly looking over your shoulder, until of course you wish to put him out of his misery
