I have got some great photos from the course photographer, inc on the Mountain - once I have a chance to reduce in size will post.
Was overtaken on the day by about 6 cars. But by and far the most impressive was a white RS1800, rear wheel drive being pedalled at an incredible pace. Had no chance trying to follow him even with all the AWD trickery at my disposal - hats off to the guy. Found out later he was a local, so he knows the track well - but even so it was a joy to follow him even if just for a short time.

ps: if you got past the RS1800 then I have to say your pace was at a different level to mine - will need to make sure we run together next time to see what I can learn

The RS1800 was very impressive - the driver was quite happy to throw in some opposite lock on the mountain (with virtually no run off) - fantastic to watch!
Thouroughly enjoyed my day and the Golf went well though the front tyres were starting to go off towards the end of the day. In hindsight, I should have gone out with the instructor as I know I wasn't making the most of my car - I seemed to always screw one corner up on each lap, but all this makes me want to return!
3 cars falling off on the sighting laps defies belief. The Puma after 50 yards, the Fiesta Cosworth with major damage after 1 1/2 laps and then the 205 just after the gooseneck - not sure what was going on there
Dave (Red Man) seemed to take to Cadwell straight away and was passing most other cars - Dave, you'd certainly do well at The Ring going by your driving yesterday
Defo up for Donington and Oulton sometime soon !

Thanks John - probably the best days driving I have done (if you discount the night time rallies that is).
We must do Cadwell again - and either get the instructor onboard or let me sit in for a few laps. Have some video of me following you, but camera angle is not the best. Will edit and sort out for you in due course. What I do remember is that you did not brake for Coppice, brave man - many did and its where I made most ground on other cars - nicely set up to overtake on the Park straight.
So Donnington and Oulton look like the next trips - will check out dates.
