Well pslewis came back two days early. Maybe he is feeling guilty?
If we are lucky, he will eventually admit that he is a liar!!!
If he doesn't - he will continue to be haunted

And which is still in regular use ......
......I reckon I have - I think its about 10 years old, a Motorola MR30!!
It's on Conract to Orange and I get a monthly bill .... which averages 35p!!
I keep getting companies ringing me and telling me I can upgrade - FANTASTIC I say!!
They get all excited and start telling me about their £19:99 a month packages .... I interupt and say that I only pay about 35p a month now .... do they hear what I've said??
NO!! They just continue on - and on - and on ..... they actually fail to see that I would be worse off with them!!!
Even with such overwhelming odds they continue to try and get me to upgrade!! Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!
Braindead .............
So, anyone any older phone in regular use - I bet there isn't, you lot are gadget freaks!!

I will repeat:-
1. I have an old Motorola 'brick' phone which still works off its own batteries.
2. It is on Contract, on the Orange match of the Virgin Tariff.
3. Average monthly bill is 35p and I receive a bill each and every month.
4. I only pay the bill when it reaches £1+ (about 3 months)
Thats about all there is to it - believe it or not, I ain't worried

What proof is it that you are after again? I have seen the phone and seen it working in his car. I have even received texts from it. I do not know what contract he is on but the phone DOES exist and DOES work and IS in his car.

Hmmm - I'm now using a four year old phone and for 95% of the time, it actually works BETTER than my much newer mobile.
Battery life much longer.
Easier to make calls/text
Seems to get much better reception
Smaller
Yes it only has a poor camera and GPRS not 3G but overall, it's actually better!

"Small, neat, lightweight phone for the Orange Network!" seems laughable today
Google Image Result for http://www.mobiles.co.uk/images/mr30.gif
What's it worth to retro collectors - any idea?
I actually have two - but one is not connected.
