MCE works fine for me - 360 is wired to router but the computer is wireless.

Go for it mate. I got mine last week and I haven't put it down since. It's a great bit of kit and Xbox live is ace. TBH most of the demos I've played so far have been okay - not superb. BUT there are loads of great games coming and we'll all soon be spoiled for choice

Anyway...I'm too busy playing 'Cloning Clyde'

Had a look and play.com are doing a deal with PGR. £300. see here

They seem to be holding their price pretty well for a year old console

I read somewhere about Hitachi making alterations to the DVD drive to make hacking a lot harder - think it affects console made after August, new firmware and something to do with "new black glue" which basically wrecks the drive if you try to remove it.

I think they'll hold the price until the PS3 comes out. M$ must be rubbing their hands with glee when they heard the PS3 release was delayed as it means they can milk the early adopters for longer !

HMV are doing the same - Premium Pack + PGR3 & Table Tennis for £300.
