Question All Lights in HID ??

Am tempted by this deal but would want the main beam and high beam in HID.

So am I right in thinking that if you wanted to achieve this on a MY05 you would need two sets = 4 ballasts and 2 relay units to find a home for..

Correct Scott. But ordering 2 kits you can have a £5 discount!

I'm in the same boat... want HID's for dips and spots... no point with full beam - hardly ever use them, but use spots all the time!

Recieved and fitted mine 2 weeks ago and very pleased with these.
I purchased 2 sets, 1 set for the impreza and the other set for my dad's Toyota Emina.

I Received an invoice today from TNT for £34.85.
£20.16 VAT and £12.50 Processing fees, then VAT again on processing fees£2.19.

Thought I got away with it, as they delivered it and did not ask for Duty.

Oh well

Cheers
Scott

I think it is VAT on the goods with a value of about £115 and the processing fee is customs clearance, which is about what you would normally see. I don't think its duty as electrical lighting equipment should only pull 2.7% if anything. I don't think you could get away with the gift idea as they are all coming from the same person via the same company, TNT and they are the ones doing the clearance so it's too much to expect them to just let it go.

We struggled fitting the ballast units at first, but, managed to mount them behind the bottom fog light covers. Superb place to fit, wiring is long enough, they fit quite snug and out the way, covers fit straight back. No need to remove bumper or lights, this is if you don't have the bottom fog lights. Hope this helps you guys.

Please be aware.

The user genuine has been banned because of commercially advertising products and sales information on this thread.

Unless that supplier is an authorised advertiser this can not take place.

The reason for Group Buys, is that the person organising the Group Buy must do all the liasing with the people interested or buying something.... not the supplier or manufacturer (unless they are an authorised advertiser).

The group buy still stands, but all laison needs to be made via an independant party (i.e. the Group Buy instigator).

Regards,
Shaun.

Sorry Shaun I didnt realise this until now, but you've made things clear to me and I will from this point on do all the laising on behalf of the supplier

Does any one know if the H3 HID bulb version of this kit will fit in the Prodrive driving lamp kit as can be fitted to the MY03 (130mm dia PIAA lamp).
This would be one way of getting some HID driving lamps.
If they do fit I would be V interested in getting some.

Paul from what I've seen turn over time on these is FAST... you should have your kit by the latest middle of next week! Not so many ppl have had the conformation email, but if you dont receive the kit by Wed gimme a shout and I'll certainly chase it up for you!

It is bi-xenon kit that I am using and my PIAA spots no longer work.
