Hi Jase,

Tried calling the number but guess you dont work Sat's. I am interested in a set of tarmacs in hypersilver for a classic. Are they available with Toyo's still or another performance tyre as dont really want the budgets?

Also what is the tyre size? I currently have 225 45 17.

The correct tyre conversion for your car should be 205/45/17, for prices see above.

Does anybody have a picture of the Redlines in either Silver or Gunmetal fitted to a Blue scoob? Both would be nice, not sure which way to go.

i cannot vouch for Jason but the only pictures i have at the moment for redlines are the 2 listed here:

Redline @ Fotopic.Net

The redlines on the silver scooby are actually the black diamond cut finish but the hyper silver is not to different. It doesn't quite have the same shine, but it it is as close as paint can get.

For all the pictures i have full stop of wheels fitted to cars, this is the gallery listing:

The offset for the classic shape (45 or 48) on the Redlines are closer to the correct offset for a newage than 38 that you are offering. Why wont the 48 offset wheel fit an 02 STi ??

I have read on Scoobynet that an offset of 38 can put the wheel bearings under extra load hence risk premature failure. I am after a set of wheels, but don't want an offset of 38 because of this issue.

Regards

Neil

It does depend on exactly what model and what year you have BUT if you have an 02 STI your PCD will be 5x100 so you do not have to worry as the lowest offset available for you is 42.

Now the reason the STi cannot take an offset of 48 is because of i's breaks. The standard breaks alone need an offset of at least 45 to clear so this will mean you are constricted to offset 42 or 45 i'm afraid. Unless that is, your happy to go with 3 mm spacers. We can provide 3 mm Shimmey's at no extra cost but these are not the proper hub locating spacers that i would imagine you would want.

I hope that is of some help for you.

If the offset is 45 or 42 for the 18" redline gun metal, then I would like them for an 02 STi with T1-R's please.

Cheers

Great.

Do the wheels come with nuts, caps and spiggot rings (ie everything to run on) or are they extra ?

As our hairy friend has said, caps always come with the wheels and we will provide spigot rings if needs be and nuts all included in the price.

The reason some wheels may not need spigot rings (e.g. the Redline) is that it is made only for the impreza and hence the CB of the wheels is 56.1; a direct fit for the classics.

Is that bcs thats what is available or they are the only ones in compatible ETxx?

I like the SPIN and have a classic (GC8) - ET45?
