I see some of you guys are fitting the FMIC, will you be running the car every day with this fitted or will you be getting a remap first before driving the car?
A few posts on general about fitting a FMIC without remaps.

Interested in this kit for my 1999 RB5 (GC8).
I have a couple of questions:
Is it still running?
What are the advantages of FMIC in terms of power and are there any obvious disadvantages?
Looks pretty easy to fit, is that the case (I am confident with a spanner)?
What are the exact things I need to do with the BOV to make it fit? Don't want to end up having an atmosphere one don't like the noise.
I've had an induction kit on my previous scooby K&N and found it a bit noisy, what can anyone recommend?
Cheers
Paul

just fitting mine at the moment, got intercooler and pipe work mounted tidy only problem is the front cross member wont fit now!! its hitting on the intercooler, i originally tried bolting intercooler on to cross member but by doing this the pipe work doesn't meet the intercooler!! its as if the inteercooler is to big height wise!! so at the moment im at the same position as in willgill's pic!
Anybody else tried to fit one yet and had problems??

Do not worry about losing strength, when it is all bolted up the IC becomes the crossmember.
