PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING ORDER
You are buying a brand new Autobahnn88 fully polished lightweight aluminum front mount intercooler & pipework for the 1992-2000 Import & UK Subaru Impreza, all years all models between 1992/01~2000/09, also fits all European Impreza Turbo's between 92-00 in Europe, ideal for 2.5 conversions! Direct fit to 96-00 Impreza, only front bumper needs cut slightly to accept the new front mount. 92-95 Impreza may require small (easy) modification to throttle body pipe & inner wing will need a hole cut large enough to allow the pipework to pass through into the engine bay, no inner wing cutting required for 96~00 Impreza's! The core size is a massive 24" x 12" x 3" and has a pressure drop of only 0.2psi @ 15 psi. The intercooler is polished aluminum with a bar and plate design. The pipework is polished aluminum and comes with a 30mm flange for a dump valve. The intercooler is fitted to the main cross member and two lower mounting brackets secure the lower part of the intercooler to the chassis. As with most FMIC's the front bumper will need cut/modified to accept the new FMIC and pipework, an induction kit is required as the standard air box has to be removed to allow room for the pipework. Fog lights, ABS and air conditioning do no not need relocated or removed. The quality and fitment of this kit is on par with much more expensive fmic's on the market like Greddy, Blitz and HKS and in most cases this front mount intercooler is larger and more efficient. ~9KG in total weight! You are buying a brand new Autobahnn88 fully polished lightweight aluminum front mount intercooler & pipework for the 1992-2000 Import & UK Subaru Impreza, all years all models between 1992/01~2000/09, also fits all European Impreza Turbo's between 92-00 in Europe, ideal for 2.5 conversions! Direct fit to 96-00 Impreza, only front bumper needs cut slightly to accept the new front mount. 92-95 Impreza may require small (easy) modification to throttle body pipe & inner wing will need a hole cut large enough to allow the pipework to pass through into the engine bay, no inner wing cutting required for 96~00 Impreza's! How much detail!!
One question, if I had one of these would I have cut away the plastic horizontal vaines in the bumper (behind the number plate) to put it there? or is it larger than this and simply goes in the space behind that the the vertical brace that the bonnet catch sits on?

Yes the black section of the bumper will need to cut away to fit but I'm going to have a go at re fitting it further forward so it gives it the original look (stealth mode) until i get the front mount i cant go no further with the fitting thread but will go into detail on how much to cut the bumper as far as i can, I think Ive sourced most the information with help of the others for the fitting to go smoothly if i come across any problems i will sus out and put on thread so every one knows the score

So just to clarify, I will need to order just the FMIC and apexi air filter then make a hole in the drivers wing for the filter and intercooler pipe anfd the other pipe for the intercooler doesnt need to be cut into anything??!?!
im just a little concerned as there is a greedy remote oil filter and cooler fitted (cooler is where I think the intercooler needs to go!!!

You are buying a brand new Autobahnn88 fully polished lightweight aluminum front mount intercooler & pipework for the 1992-2000 Import & UK Subaru Impreza, all years all models between 1992/01~2000/09, also fits all European Impreza Turbo's between 92-00 in Europe, ideal for 2.5 conversions! Direct fit to 96-00 Impreza, only front bumper needs cut slightly to accept the new front mount. 92-95 Impreza may require small (easy) modification to throttle body pipe & inner wing will need a hole cut large enough to allow the pipework to pass through into the engine bay, no inner wing cutting required for 96~00 Impreza's! The core size is a massive 24" x 12" x 3" and has a pressure drop of only 0.2psi @ 15 psi. The intercooler is polished aluminum with a bar and plate design. The pipework is polished aluminum and comes with a 30mm flange for a dump valve. The intercooler is fitted to the main cross member and two lower mounting brackets secure the lower part of the intercooler to the chassis. As with most FMIC's the front bumper will need cut/modified to accept the new FMIC and pipework, an induction kit is required as the standard air box has to be removed to allow room for the pipework. Fog lights, ABS and air conditioning do no not need relocated or removed. The quality and fitment of this kit is on par with much more expensive fmic's on the market like Greddy, Blitz and HKS and in most cases this front mount intercooler is larger and more efficient. ~9KG in total weight! I will do some tomorrow, weather permitting...
But to describe it is attached to the brace bar that the bonnet catch goes on. Between the brace and the front bumper. I dont think I could get it to fit the other side as its too wide and would foul the air con rad. Are there any pics anywhere of where one fits (or can be fitted)?

HI YOU MAY BE LUCKY AS THIS SITS UNDER THE BUMPER BAR THE LEFT HAND PIPE LOOKIN AT THE CAR RUNS UP BETWEEN THE RAD AND THE PULLY COVER THE OVER NEAR THE BATTTRIE
