You are buying a brand new Autobahnn88 fully polished lightweight aluminum front mount intercooler & pipework for the 1992-2000 Import & UK Subaru Impreza, all years all models between 1992/01~2000/09, also fits all European Impreza Turbo's between 92-00 in Europe, ideal for 2.5 conversions! Direct fit to 96-00 Impreza, only front bumper needs cut slightly to accept the new front mount. 92-95 Impreza may require small (easy) modification to throttle body pipe & inner wing will need a hole cut large enough to allow the pipework to pass through into the engine bay, no inner wing cutting required for 96~00 Impreza's! The core size is a massive 24" x 12" x 3" and has a pressure drop of only 0.2psi @ 15 psi. The intercooler is polished aluminum with a bar and plate design. The pipework is polished aluminum and comes with a 30mm flange for a dump valve. The intercooler is fitted to the main cross member and two lower mounting brackets secure the lower part of the intercooler to the chassis. As with most FMIC's the front bumper will need cut/modified to accept the new FMIC and pipework, an induction kit is required as the standard air box has to be removed to allow room for the pipework. Well the bad news is that unfortunately I'm on a tight schedule and have a remap and a 'Ring trip already planned, so I can't hang on. So I suppose the good news for the rest of you is that I'm going to have to pull out of this one, meaning everyone else moves one place up the list. It may be that something can still be sorted a little sooner?
