It seems you are at odds with most of the other people here, most of whom seem to like to see the other cars. I find it ironic that back in early '01 when RON organised the FIRST dorset scooby gathering, where were you? Still chavving it up in your stickered up Nova or Saxo I 'spose. There are a few of us that are still here, and even tho' we've moved on to other marques (notice I didn't say better), still stay in touch with the mates we met back then. P'raps I will come, seeing as I fill your demographic of having at some point in my life owned two scoobs, and may be just to pi55 you off.

Not many scoobs ?
When was the last meet you went to ?
The Hants crew regularly visit the 'Dorset' meets. I've never been to a meet with not many cars attending.
One of the last Hants meets we had 44 cars in convoy
Your always welcome to visit www.hampshiresubaru.co.uk and keep your eye out on the meets section.
In fact we are attending the Jap Show @ Wellington Park on Sunday, your more than welcome to come along. We have a joint stand with Triton Fingers crossed we will have around 25-30 scoobs on display.

Forecast for Reading for Sunday (at the moment) is Cloudy and 72 degrees. Good enough, plus we will have a couple of gazebo's to get under if it rains !

Hmmm,This all seems to be abit sad really.
When I organised a meet at the Swan inn at Stoford,I for one was very happy with the support from the organisers from other area's and other car clubs. We had a total of 48 cars turn up from scoobies, evo's and a skyline. The majority were Subaru's but to be honest so what.I certainly didn't get to speak to everyone that night but surely the main thing is to meet new people and have an enjoyable time?If you don't enjoy it then stay home.
This is my opinion for what it's worth,I certainly haven't got any issue's with anyone on here to base my comments on,but I think there ought to be a reality check as there are plenty of people to fall out with in the world without it happening on here
Regards
Dean

Hmm it all seems rather childish and tribal to me, I could understand if it was an Arsenal meet up and a few filthy scumbag Spurs (or Chelsea ) fans showed up, but I always think the more the merrier.
I'm pretty sure 95% of us are quite happy for any Jap car clubs turn up, I wouldn't be happy if the Saxo/Nova chavs turned up.
I hope Glen changes his mind, he still owes me a pint!

That was me Andy.. why not just say it. That didn't mean that it was the other cars. It was people in general. Im a girl and as such don't really fit in - there aren't any other girls that go that drive fast cars so I'm on my own really. Stop being such a ****.
If you don't want to come then don't - just don't embroil everyone else into your stupidity. You're trying to salvage some kind of face now - I don't need to, I've always been a say it as it is girl. I just don't agree with you on this one, as I made clear to you at that meet. I do believe I said "I like Evo's".
Restricted in my case because I know sweet FA about cars and aren't really that interested.

A clique (pronounced /klɪk/) is an informal and restricted social group formed by a number of people who share common interests

Guy's, PLEASE stop with all the ranting, i've been away for a few days and i come back to Chaos, all i can say is, that if anyone isn't happy with the way the meets are, (and they will not be changing while i arrange them) then please feel free to organise your own social gathering, just make sure you choose a venue to suit....
I have always been quite happy to see other makes of cars arrive, (shall i come in the Scoob, Land Rover or Rover 200????) what i have sometimes been dissapointed by, is the low numbers of Subaru's that turn up, but i do realise that everyone has a life, and sometimes that gets in the way of meeting up for an evening..... it may have at times felt as if we were being taken over, but i've never once said that any particular group was not welcome at the meets, in fact, all i've ever said is 'The more the merrier'.... and that sentiment stands........
So, in conclusion, if you don't like the way the meets are done, DON'T COME..... simple really......
Ron.
