Hi, Insurance can be a bit of a nightmare, im 23 (24 in a couple of weeks) and had a couple of scoobys since I was 19 so I know what your going through with insurance, £1300 for a STi is not to bad for your age, Ive been with Elephant.co.uk since ive been driving, and are usually quite good(cheap) with young drivers on performance cars.

Ill keep a eye out for your STi. Have you seen any of my old motors round Willenhall:

Both sold!

Got a Focus RS now, as its a bit cheaper to run and have serviced, as Ive just got myself on the property ladder and cant be doing with the big bills of running a Evo or a Scooby!

Maybe get another Scooby next year when im settled!

Yeah classic insurance and the mustangs up for £10,000, finding it hard to find something to match the scooby though, still want the speed but dont want to pay so much insurance.
But id defently try a plan insurance, i searched every where and they were the cheapest.

Scooby!!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not a 380bhp Evo was boring, the exhaust note sounded like a hairdryer, and the AYC corrected any driver mistake's, I prefer a car that I can drive and not all this clever electronic diffs etc doing it for me when the back end steps out a little.

Most people who have owned scoobs always want a Evo next, I was one of those people and now ive got it out of my system, Ive decided that the scooby is the car that better suits me.

Nothing wrong with the Mustang and it would get quite a lot of attention, But id stay away from the Lotus especially a 1990's era Esprit, Classic Insurance might be cheaper, but the money you save you will be paying out for when ever something goes wrong.

Check prices for parts such as clutches and brake pads for the two cars first, and see if they are available for a car like the mustang, as its not the sort of car you could get a set of brake pads from Motoraids or Halfords.

Anyone fancy the Rolling Road on Sunday starts at 10am. a few of us are meeting at 9am at McDonalds in Willenhall and then driving down there, £35 to get your car on the Rolling Road with a dyno printout.

Here's the details.

Not to bad! What other mods you got to put on!

My old 04 WRX did 310bhp 300lb/ft with VF28 Turbo, STi injectors, intercooler, full decat with equal length headers, and ecutek remap.

Kind of wish I went for the Td05-18g Turbo and got a bit more power, but the VF28 turbo cost me £180 so I wasnt complaining.
