the answer is the coloured squares spell the word SHIFT

this is derived from filling in the crossword with the appropriate words, ie


7 down = seven
3 across = three
etc

so find the letters in the orange squares.

 

so where have people got to on this? ive managed to get up to level 63. but im back at work now so no time!!

The first letter of the car badges spells the work s?oda, so the missing ? must be a badge beginning with K, the first car i thought of was KIA
