Can the directions this year have postcodes so we can plan the route into satnav systems??? Might be too much hastle though.

am sure directions will be along the same lines as the previous runs, will have to have a dig around and see if i can find them. Although once we hit london the route is easy, just follow the thames along the embankment until you get to chelsea bridge, turn round and come back the same way. Would also imagine we will all re meet at Maccy D's on the way back.

 

I've never actually known the route! Just follwed the cars in front.

would assume it will be something along these lines.

meet thurrock
over bridge, back through dartford tunnel.
along A13 towards london where we hit, a small tunnel followed by limehouse link. Then straight along embankment where there are a few other underpasses.
Over chelsea bridge, turn around head back along emabankment.
re meet Maccy D's after limehouse link
then maybe one last run over dartford.

 

I will post directions up soon. It will be along the lines of last time but I need to know if the blackwall tunnel is open at nights nowadays

I also have in mind a small detour for a photo opportunity but need to drive it first to see if it's feasible

If possible and time allows I will give as much informations as I can about the route so that you can all program the route into your sat-navs...

It is inevitable that we will get split up through the traffic lights. It helps that we are being lead by the best in the business (Spally) so we shouldn't get too split up. The thing that fecked us last time was the road works along lower thames street - hopefully not an issue this time.

As everyone else has said - just follow the noise and the flames in front...

milamber, once you've sorted directions pm them to me and i will drive into work 1 day and have a dry run one evening to see if we are likely to incur any problems

 

Actually I was going to do that again soon anyway. I did it last year with YVM, scoobygreg and a pen and paper. I'll PM you in the next week or two and we'll have a mini tunnel run and a McDonalds
