Being totally annal, Did anyone possibly get any footage of the Red & Gold stickered wagon flaming through any of the tunnels (apart from the authorities)? Being in the drivers seat, I never get to see the fruits of my labour!!!

Well, it was a night I'll never forget!! It was a good'un, but think if we do it again, just a small idea, have more "lead" cars (people who know where they are going) and to have groups going off separate, rather than all at once! I know I went with Milamber on a practice run, but still didn't have a clue where I was
! Every group I managed to tag on to were lost!
It was definitely an experience, and the number of cars was amazing
!! 10/10 for all the effort made, and got me a mug too!
Maybe if we do it in groups, we should split it up into people who have done it before, who are confident, and first timers being lead by ol' pros, and then have BIGGER meeting points. All leads cars to have radios, so we know when we have all arrived at meeting points
!! Being my first time, I was very nervous (hate driving around London at the best of times) but having to watch all the Scoobies I was following go flying off in the distance, and trying to keep up without stuffing the car is scary
!!!
Hats off to Milamber though, as he has worked really hard to organise this, and I think he deserves and huge round of applause...*claps and cheers*

With the best will in the world, getting 120 cars through london was never going to be easy
People were always going to get lost, its a fact of life and part of the post run experience. I mean was tescos car park on the route map

From: family life is superb but i MISS my scoob!!
sounds like most had fun. Unfortunately with that many cars it is very difficult to keep everyone together, Em your idea of smaller groups has been disscussed before but it was decided not to as 1) as long as the lead cars dont go any faster than 40mph along the a13 then everyone is able to regroup before london anyway. 2) once we hit london the groups are going to get split up everywhere, due to traffic lights, jams etc. That's why maps and directions are posted. At the end of the day the route is not that hard, just means people have to spend 5 mins reading the directions.
Also a thought for next year, obviously the police are getting wind of where to read the route etc and therefore shuting down certain tunnels, so next year keep the details to the minimum on here.

), if people had gone upto the A13 and then went back along the M25 you would of had 2 tunnel runs at Dartford
Thanx to Mialamber for organising this. It was a great event with a huge turnout of scoobies and non-scoobies alike.
To all the guys and ladies I led into London from the Dome, it was a pleasure and i'm glad we managed to stay together.
I totally agree with Em, smaller units of convoy(s), each having a lead that knows the route is far better than one or two leading a 'batallion'. No doubt peeps will get lost but it can be managed better i.e stopping @ lights or after lights to re-group.
Glad you all had fun, looking forward to next years and please note, the exit to join the M25 is always closed when we 'RUN', instead of going on the A13, double back unto the M25 by going under the bridge.
