I'm surprised no man has admitted to driving with their knees.. whilst using one hand to scratch their *****, and the other to pick their nose...

One hand - usually right, on the top of the wheel when on motorway and about prob the same round town.
cant understand how people find it easier driving with two, its so awkward and tried. I find with one on the wheel on the m-way it gives you greater control at speed, as with 2 your gripping the wheel and putting too much into a slight turn ie overtaking, etc.
Plus you look gormless with both hands out and blank face on

If I'm driving to or from work it's,
Two fingers on the top of the spokes and my elbow on the window sill..
My other hand is usually fumbling for breakfast snacks off the passenger seat lunch box or trying to open a screw on lid from a drinks bottle wedged between the legs. (or on the gearstick)
If I'm on a mission it's
Two hands at ten to two unless flat shifting
Passengers are usually found holding the handle above the window with one hand and the other gripping the edge of the seat or tugging at the seat belt.

This place just gets crazier all the time, two hands on the wheel at all times ,better control with one hand my ****, you dont see Petter Solberg or Michael Schumacher driving one handed, one of the main reasons for paddle shift is the ability to keep both hands on the wheel. And as for keeping a hand on the gearstick all your doing is putting excess wear on the gearbox.
Wait until you get a front tyre blow out on the motorway and we will see how much control you have got when the steering wheel snaps from your grasp.
