I'm sure you can dig holes and have fun just dont be so narrowminded as H&S are just doing their job with reasons usually behind it.
Now put your handbag away as I wasn't having a go

When I looked at the pics, I just saw a couple of cute kids having a great time with their Dad. And I thought it was obvious that a couple of the pics were set up. I certainly did not think of any danger, Christ, I got up to much worse than that when I was a kid
Glad you had a great time Swiss

I'm suprised I'm still alive with the stuff I used to do but hey the kids had a good time and luckily nothing bad happened. There nothing wrong with pointing out the stuff which can go wrong though

Maybe I am missing the point, it's just not funny to me!

This whole Nanny State, compo culture, PC bull**** exists because we've let it happen which is why I'm glad that people like Jeremy Clarkson exist. Even the original poster is having a pop at the ridiculous overreaction that came as a result of the original thread - good on him in my book.

No i will not be replying with any abuse, that wasnt the point of the post, inciting replies, it was merely a lighthearted dig at the PC brigade and an opportunity to share some weekend fun
I feel sorry for young ones growing up today with some many restrictions and yes it sometimes makes my job as a parent less fun, as I have to spend time explaining to two young lads why they cant do this or that !!
I have a healthy regard for safety, both being an adult (ish) and a parent and possess a modicum of common sense.
Bet the ones who were querying my reasons for the post or pointing out my foolish behaviour have never gone over the posted speed limit with other people in their car and generally return their library books on time....
