Chelsea are just another Blackburn at present - albeit on a bigger scale. They can't sustain their success long term so their fans should enjoy it while they can.
They will never be considered a big club of English football like United and Liverpool.
When I was growing up Newcastle were just a small team from the North East - times don't really change that much when you think about it.

they never had 10,000 fans turn up at a proper game when they were in div 1 did they.
The offer of a place on that course is still open. I can get one of my staff to sign you up. It may teach you something...
August 15 1992: the opening day of the English Premier League. All the fans of these big Clubs excited at the start of a new era in Football. Where was the highest gate in England that day? St James' Park - in Division One!

Considering that half their fanbase is only there because they are winning they will struggle to fill their ground, one thing will lead to another and Ken Bates will end up buying them for a £1.

Besides, there's a slight difference between a friendly and a competitive match.
