What happens to these big dudes when they 'retire'....does it all turn to fat and they spend their last days rolling around their bedroom hiding poo under their pillow because they can't reach the toilet in time.

That picture is just gross - men with muscles like that are just hideous

He's got a coat hanger holding his head together also...I just can't understand the mentality of going 'that' far. Yes big is good....bigger is a bit freakish, but I can see why people want to look BIG....but there is a line where something just doesn't look normal any more.

Yes they inject the places they want to increase in size, it doesn't give any definition just a bloated look on top of the original muscle.

mm...nice! So what happens when they give up. Does it just sit there like he's wearing arm bands for the rest of his life? or can you have it removed?
...sorry, I genuinely don't know...in fact I've seen pictures like it before, but I've always thought they had been photoshopped.

Not sure, it's a recent thing so don't know the long term effects. One thing is for sure they will have a whole load of loose skin.

funnily enough i was in TGI's last week for my kids birthday and a BB walked past....not massive but certainly big. Funny thing was he just looked an oddball outside of the gym, he was a human monster truck...interesting to see but you'd not want to own one.
nowadays i would have thought a training goal for blokes would be the cover models on mens fittness type mags which is LOADS more about definition than size. (although i remember doing drugs as a 19 year old thinking big was cool - i prob looked as dumb as TGI man!)

322lbs is a lot of weight Harold, you must be one big dude. Got a lot of respect for the training you must have put in.
I have been out of training properly for about a year now, and finding it so hard to get back into shape, especially my shoulders and arms. Have thought about starting protein etc but kinda wanna see what i can achieve without. Not going for quite your size but more like Christian Bale in Batman Begins.
I think the classic shapes like Park, Arnie, Ferrigno (70's\80's not 90's), Columbo etc were probably the peak of bodybuilding. The Later guys Coleman etc just look deformed, its a personal opinion but I still have respect for the dedication these guys put in.
The guy with the 25" arms did get an infection which caused a rupture in his bicep. I read his story a while back.
Enjoy the training!

Have to agree with Mr. Fibble about the Arnie era being the epitome of the bodybuilding shape. Nowadays it is too vascular, ripped and overdeveloped. The guys in the Pumping Iron documentary had a much more aesthetically pleasing look as did The Myth Sergio Oliva and Larry Scott before them.

Although fundamentally they are both Dianobol if that makes any sense.

Arnie is nowhere near Ronnie Coleman. No one is!! Coleman is THE greatest bodybuilder ever to have to graced the scene.
