It is Dave! Hi all. The car was at Scooby shootout on the JAP club stand.
Its a semi-closed deck 2.5, which should be the same as the current STIs I think. The power its running is very good for what it is, as its running the standard injectors and top mount and turbo. I dont think you can get any better with the standard VF28, most I have seen with this spec are running much lower at 230bhp or thereabouts. With some bigger injectors and turbo it would be good for 400bhp, as it has all the supporting mods.
Im sure Rick could do you a good deal on a turbo for it I think he has one on the shelf at his garage and I know he can now get some from Oxford.....

Trying to make the house look better! We moved a year ago in to a dormer bungalow and want to take the roof off and make it into a house...its so ugly at the minute I cannot believe anyone would have built it like that! So need the cash.
Will not be leaving the scooby scene, my wife Abi bought a black wagon a while ago. We can now enjoy the scooby experience but take our dogs with us! The Type R is the third car so unfortunately is the one that has to go.

Todays Reflection, A Short One
Plenty of bikes there, a few cars were running, no Scoobs though.
Yep and the weather spoilt it too
So after a short debate with my son, we decided to call it a day.
Good to see you Alan & Kev. Oh the TVR hit 179mph
The weather just isn`t been very kind to us at the moment. The past several times I have attended these events, it has bleedin rained
So, I have a few pics which I will I will post up, if they`re any good

Hi Ant,
I decided to call it a day once the rain came as wouldn't expect many bikers to be pushing it in those conditions. The TVR did well didn't it, I was surprised that the Elise made 145mph as well, didn't think they were that quick!
seeyou chaps tonight at Opgrove

T'was me, was that your scoob making that very nice burble?
Can't praise Rick enough at RE Motorsport, did a great job on the car and he took time to explain what he was going to do and why - doesn't just talk down to you like some of the larger multi-franchised garages! And all at a good price. Recommend to all.

Check out Rick at RE MOtorsport also. He mentioned to me a 400bhp kit. That should be enough for you?

I think 400 is the limit on UK internals though, so I'll aim for 380.
See you Tuesday by the way.....The Hopgrove is the one next to the travel Lodge kinda place isn't it? Off that funny double roundabout thingy at the end of the section of the A64.......head for Asda????
