I think you drain it into a plastic tray. It takes a fair amout of time before you have to do it but I have never actually emptied one myself. some we have had for 2 years now (we have eight in total) but one has broken down and that was fixed under warranty.

Cheers, ordered one today but couldn't pick it up so will be wednesday.

My Delonghi one is on it's last legs but won't be sorry to see it go, emptying the water bin at 3 in the morning when it goes off is not funny! The whole blinkin thing stops, not just the evaporator.

Paid half the price of Robert Dyas too
