You've heard of the saying "Good things come to those who wait"
(plus, it takes a while for the sound of the tannoy to get through the ear trumpets )

Now this is gonna hurt a little, but that Micra..
The graphics, kind of 'now you see me, now you don't'
Respect.
Seriously. Different. In a good way. Showed a little thought and imagination rather than just buying 2 £3 dragons from some monkey on eBay.

I was asked to take this by the nice ladies stood at my side to prove that some of the blokes could get their fingers out and help...
They made me do it, honest, or they'd have made me "disappear" [and that's no small feat ]
Anyway, enough for now as I've got one of Mr Artois' frigid daughters waiting and the WRC is on as reminded by Sticky.
Nighty-night

Top pics as ever Andy.
Thanks for the entertainment. I resisted the urge to put a caption to your first offering as I saw her from the front, and words fail me

What started out as a bit of a washout ended up turning into a decent weekend. Today's weather brightened up a bit, and the wind receded. The car park got a little fuller and the stand ended up fairly well occupied. Perhaps not full to bursting, but with a little careful positioning of cars it looked very respectable.
New members came in thick and fast, I have in my posession £60 in new membership money, and a tenner to start the ball rolling for the charity fund.
Quick rollcall for the new members;
Matt (Silver classic wagon with 8000 watts of ICE )
Stu Jackson (Silver classic, not exactly new, but subs paid in a failed bid to relieve a lttle Gay Times pressure )
Mark Richmond
Mike Kitchen (kitch)
Mick Bannister
Grant Leslie
Welcome to one and all. Not all of these guys have SN access so it may be a while before they post here, but they've been made aware of the EOM meets and run details, so lets hope we see them soon.
Dave, I also have a trackday deposit from Steve Jackson (22B), so you can put him down as confirmed please.
In all, although there wasn't that much to see there were plenty of faces, new and old, to have chats, natters and in-depth conversations with.
Pics to follow (Andy?)
Oh, an on a final note. Not wishing to rub any salt into any wounds, the SIDC 'stand' consisted on ONE car and a flag pole.

Thanks
I would like to thank everyone that was there for making us feel very welcome and for the burnt food and letting me drink all your beer. Also for the tea out of the minibago on sunday. Look forward to many more good times starting end of august.
