You can't have rabbits shaved, first of all they would need general anaesthetic (which can kill them) and then the coat we be completely removed as you can't shave the coat down a bit, its all or nothing. The only way to shorten their coat is with scissors and then it looks a total mess and the undercoat is not meant to be exposed and will just matt and make matters worse. This is from my vet who I spoke to yesterday.
