well il have a look tomorrow and see what it says. are there any modifications that could have been done to the engine however to up the power that arent really noticeable to a subaru novice such as myself or would it have to be through the ecu?? again my knowledge is lacking in this area.

 

Oh well mine had a 2C ECU in it before i changed it so i take it its just a bog standard MY94 WRX. It has front foglamps though, but not the "STI" colour matched covers over the foglamps. I always thought it was a WRX even though the guy selling it tried to convince me it was an STI because of the oval sticker just in front of the passenger door.
The MY99 in subject drove off a few times yesterday, and doesn't seem too loud. Yes it burbles, but mine does with only a HKS backbox and i would say mine was louder. Looks to me like it has leather seats as well.

just cos its a uk doesnt mean yours is better he could also be running an uprated ecu which would make yours and his the same seems like a bit of a stuck up attitude youve got there mate i would be very p@@@@d of if that was my car you had stuck up there showing my number plate

 

That's a normal A or B-Series WRX ECU I'm afraid, so its good for 240PS and its not a fantastic map. Even though the cars registered as a 1995 its certainly a MY'93 or MY'94 car. Now you know where the brain is it shouldnt be too hard to upgrade to a lter Z4 ECU which has a much better map for our 97/98RON SUL and itll uprate the car to about 260PS; more with a decat which will almost certainly be 100% legal (unless your car has a full make and model description on the V5).

lol, the pictures been up there long enough for people to identify what it is. So much so that people including myself are now discussing the difference between 94 WRX's and Sti's, neither of which is a subject you have added to at all. My photobucket account is used for video samples mainly and have removed it for space reasons, not that some little boy suggested i do. I take it you haven't read the whole thread as you have made 2 statements that have already been said and have already been answered, one of which suggested i take it off which i ignored so don't be arrogant enough to think i'd listen to you overall. I assume you own a UK turbo and have somehow come up with the idea i think my car is "better", this i would say makes you angry, so you've posted bollocks.
