It was yesterday. First 2 places were taken by Cosworths with the scoob in 3rd IIRC. Paul used the Zen car for a bit of off-roading, but thankfully without any damage. Terry killed his engine before he even got to the circuit and lots of cars had problems on the day.
Was a lovely day (unusual for Knockhill) and enjoyed by all that I spoke to, undoubtably a success. Hopefullly there will be more entries next year as time attackers were a little thin on the track, though a couple of people did say to me on the day they wish thay had entered (but expected it to be fully booked so hadn't).
A complete disaster for me personally with the car having no grip at either end, no idea what was going on. Had boost problems all morning, got them sorted for the second practice where I somehow damaged the engine resulting in me not even making it onto the track for the time attack proper

Well done to all and Phil Keen for putting in a great time in an under-powered Impreza (in comparison to the others )
Unfortunately it appeard mine has spun a big end bearing on the way to Knockhill that morning. Car was recovered and I got a hire car and went to watch at Knockhill
An awesome track and I just wish I had been out there competing....
Oh well - roll on next year

Really enjoyed myself. I think the biggest problem for me on the day (besides virtually no track experience in a car) was too much front end grip, and too much rear brake bias, perhaps I should have entered the drifting!
But at least I survived, and with more tweaks I think the car should be a lot more forgiving.
Very well done to Phil Keen in the Litchfield car, it will really fly with a little more power.

The best bit i liked about Phils driving was in the Super battle against the cossie at the end of the day.
How you held on to that car down Seat curves (you know which lap!!) i'll never know. Looked like red mist form the pair of you from the trackside!
Crowd pleaser for sure!

ROFLOL at the pics of Phil!
That is 100% commitment!
Well done to everyone and especially to Phil!
Paul - Sounds like your car went really well mate!
Terry - unlucky about the engine and hope you get it sorted in time for Round 4.
See you all at Round 4........ we need MORE Scoobs competing, but not too many so it makes me look slower!
Regards,
Shaun.

It was an absolutely magic day. Great track action from both the time attack and especially the drifting. Going down Duffus two at a time was just incredible. Good quality trade stands too, if not somewhat lacking in numbers. Was nearly handing over the credit card for the Takata harness on the driftworks stand.
I take it this is the Zen car? I had my phone set for "sport" mode and was quite fortunate to catch this little off road excursion.
