Nobody loves you Shaun.....
My last post on this thread campers.
First and foremost I would publically like to thank Shaun and everyone on here who has helped out, taken part, come along and supported the boys etc.
I hope that everyone who got behind the wheel was not disappointed and is looking forward to next season as I am.
On the points front, to get into the finals you had to compete in two rounds and score points in said rounds, the top point scorers you will see on the list, after priority was given to these guys (as per the rules) we then looked to see who had scored the highest points in one round to complete the limited number of entrants in each category hence there being a few guys there who scored highly in a single round.
Neilo, if I had stuck to the two round points rule there would only be the top 4 names you see in the 4wd category as these guys have competed in two or more rounds and scored points therein, anyone who competed in more than two rounds (Nigel Wilson let say for example) the highest two sets of points were taken to determine final standing / number for the final.
The response for the finals has been huge and I reckon we would have had enough people to have two days worth of racing.
I hope that everyone understands how this has been worked out, anyone with any queries please email me, you all have my email address, I have tried to be as fair as possible to everyone, I am bound to have upset some thats human nature.
Well, If I dont have contact with you guys before I wish you all the best of luck in the finals and once again thanks for your support this year.
Rob
PS Editted to say that I am off to the D1GB Finals at Trax as of tonite so if you do email me etc I wont be back until Monday.

Rob,
Thanks (I am sure I speak for everyone that has either competed or spectated) to you and the team for putting on this event this year. I know that everyone that has competed that I know, have enjoyed it thoroughly.
Here's waiting for next years Time Attack and congratulations to everyone that has made the final and good luck to ALL the Subaru entrants.
Regards,
Shaun.
This thread will of course be remaining on Scoobynet (but will be unstickied soon), so I urge competitors to keep the banter up and continue to use this thread up to the finals.

Neil, having just moved the wheels tonight, you can borrow them on one condition, after the event, you replace the tyres, at your cost
. £500 for a set of tyres, and i let you half kill them FOC

Shaun, what you have said is right, TA is an excellent event, and i cant wait till next year.
During the winter months, i will put the car back together, with ANOTHER box
, oil cooler (which i have had for 6 months), and sort the suspension out!Cant wait till the final, roll on my second trackday

Steven
Been a great 1st year Rob
2 points separating the top 3 places means that Donnington is going to be very tense to say the least. Not helped by PowerStation doing the suspension on a certain Green missile
Still its been great fun all year
Shame you did not make it in Shaun as I think you would surprise a lot of people with your recent turn of speed.

With all the events going on this year that I have tried, ScoobyNetLive (well... sort of
), Time Attack, TOTB and TunerGP the experiences have been brilliant. I now have the bug and can't wait until next year. With some other choice modifications happening over the Autumn / Winter period to the car, together with planning to keep my "hand in" on the experience / practice front (by hoping to do at least one track day per month until next season starts) I'm really looking forward to next year.
I never thought it could all be so much fun. It's not easy and it does take some dedication, but it really is worth it. Anyone thinking about doing it, should!
Iain,
Hope you guys push the boat out and get the top spot in the final!!!
Here's to 2007, with hopefully more Subaru's taking part in events like this!

Shaun.
