Track days I have done a couple.
Quite a bit of karting experience, although nothing at serious competition level.
My one and only w/e visit to the Ring, just after I got my car, 39 laps. Lap time around 9 minutes. 4 laps in the rain which was great fun.
Yourself?

39 laps of the ring in a weekend? i did 2 (both in rain and fog last october) but then i was on a tight schedule
Ive only ever doen one full trackday, that was in Nov 2004 when my car was around 280bhp and on standard shocks/springs. Ive done things like trax last year and GT battle last year at rockingham, but they cant really be classed as full trackdays.
I also loved karting and am way too competitive when doing that. We had an interclub competition with my forum vs the pulsar gtir modifiers and i wont that by 52 seconds in a 40 minute race
loved it.....
In all honesty i think that i get most from the karting but also playing far too many games as a kid.....(im only just 26 incidentally so i literally was a kid playing stuff like GP2 etc)
The red mist decends.......
Incidentally i dont take this as seriously as some....ill be the one in jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt...

Maybe my missus should be driving instead of me then! I've done the odd trackday here and there, and a couple of laps of the 'Ring.
She's driven or competed at:
Mallory
Oulton Park
Donnington
Snetterton
Cadwell Park
Pembrey
Llandow
Nurburgring
And some others I forget...
However, this is my one chance to have a play, instead of being spanner monkey/trailer driver/gofer/chief supporter/etc. It's her turn to wait nervously for the car to re-appear around the corner each lap!
