speed demoness, you sound like one twisted cookie. you bang on about him saying how skint he is then you moan about hes going on holiday to Italy only to go on and tell us its his first holiday abroad ever, that does sound to me like hes a skint man. Then moaning about hes hardly ever took you away. What car does he drive out of interest, nice to see your living it up with the new fella whos took you away more than you ex ever did

A few extra quid? if the new bloke treats them like his own get him to pay Seriously though I think you sounds really, whats the right word... it'll come to me soon. To be fair a new bike is only about what 5-6k, alot cheaper than the average performance car. Dont want to know all the ins and outs, not particually ar$ed to be fair but telling me a house valuation means jack to me, for all I know hes got a £120k mortgage hes paying on his own. I never said everything he does costs nothing but its a price he pays not to go abroad instead. Jesus, just because somebody has a kid doesnt mean they have to stop living their own lives. I dont see how a few hundred quid a month doesnt cover children for most essencials, especially when theyre at school giving the mothers a reasonable chance to get out and work. When the child is below school ages then I can a reasoning for alot more to be paid cause child care is akward.
Bitter. Thats the word Doesnt sound like you have a bad life yourself if you can afford to run a scoob you should be able to afford the new uniforms

Ahh, but how many jobs allow you to have all the school holidays off and the more children you have, the more chances you have of having to phone in sick to take care of a sick child, makes it hard if you can't afford child care and have nobody available to childmind for free

I know youve got a funny on you this afternoon Dave, cos your bored etc
But I think the thread question is really about Fathers who dont have anything to do with thier kids, and wont pay a penny towards their upbringing when the mothers are struggling to make ends meet, and cant get jobs because they have young children that arent necessarily at school
And where the Fathers are seemingly now living the 'higher' life and would rather see the mothers suffer, as long as they get to go out and play and have expensives taste at the expense of the childrens upbringing and welfare

Well you shouldnt have had a child in the first place seeing that you'd have the exact same problem if you was with the other guy rather than the current one unless the other guy is loaded and the new one skint

I don't see why if a new man comes on the scene that he should pay for the children's upbringing when the biological father is more than able to

As I stated in my first post, most men would do their utmost to see their child and won't see them deprived in any way
Do many fathers resent giving the shild maintainance when they can see it's clearly eing spent on the child / children?

I pay maintenance for my two kids through CSA. What gets me is as they know I pay they are always ringing to do assessments etc, yet the people that dony pay get off scott free...
When I divorced from my ex wife I said to my solicitor that she could have the house with all contents even though I bought it before I had met her. I lost alot of money as all I walked away with were my clothes and the car.
I did this and still pay maintenance and buy the kids shoes, coats take them out basically they dont go without as I like them to look smart both at school at when out with me or their mum.

Personally I think you should have to have such a legally binding agreement in place before you can start to breed, if you don't then no benefits, simple as.

Everybody knows whats morally right and wrong as Neverguess has pointed out, it does work both ways though and it would happen on an even scale if the male got the children instead of the mother. I dont see the point to the discussion, your not going to get many people come on this thread being serious saying no I shouldnt pay anything are you?

CSA only target the easy ones They can't waste time or meet targets hitting and chasing the one's who don't pay, so unfortunatley people like you take the brunt to help them achieve their targets

regardless of a new man taking you all on as a package, thet still shouldn't mean he should have to pay for the child's upbringing.
If the real father never pays a penny, then why on earth should he be allowed to see them?

I would still sell any children I had if they were ugly, or I needed new shiny shoes Goes without saying really.

Because children should never be used as pawns in issues the adults have. No matter what a ****e they are, as long as he/she is no danger to the child they should see him/her until they can make up their own mind.
If they are no shows all the time or it is detrimental to the child to see them then they can get to ****. But if they are just not paying money then it's not your choice to make.
Just my opinion
