Rabid's sentiment was perfectly justified given the behaviour of the gentlemen in the Escort. They were actually goading the Impreza to take the bait so they could race and presumably show the size of their dicks as they flew past. Yes given a clear lane they would have gone past without too much difficulty even 'with this clutch problem', but that is hardly sensible on a busy dual carriageway.

I'd rather see the people in the video maimed or dead than carrying on with crap like we saw on that clip. They might actually harm someone of value to our society while they race around public roads in their ****e cabrio thinking they are 'the man'- in the event they or their cronies from the crappy Ford site ever read this, you are pond life, scum and your vehicles are a joke. Elizabeth Duke motors for scummy neds.

It was clearly in evidence on the videos posted up. Acquiring a new ID isn't going to hide things. Or is it mere coincidence that we have a newby who joined this month and calls himself Al? Then again maybe you condone that sort of behaviour on public roads, I don't.

Completely agree KOT, I know lots of lads with fast Fords and they are in the main genuine level headed enthusiasts. However you will get the odd tit just as with any other marque. Reckless behaviour cannot be condoned when putting other road users at risk.

So yes, coincidence has made an *** of you on this particular occasion.

As for the video, am i the only one thinking the scooby doesn't even know he's in a race ? looks like its cruising to me. I certainly can't hear the flat four screaming under hard acceleration. What they probably didn't show is when they went past him it was a 60yr old man and his wife, oblivious to the chavs ******* behind him.
I love the way they slate this forum and scooby drivers, but do you think they have ever sat back, looked at their 80's piece of garbage and realise they could have paid far less to achieve "260 BHP" which apparently is rapid !. Also they could actualy have a good looking car, most of us don't want RS's because picking up 14yr old girls ain't the most important thing (anymore)

Lets not start the "360 BHP but too afraid to use it" quotes again. I saw a nice Micra in autotrader martin, suit you to a tea.

There are some Fords out there, even RS Turbo's that are incredibly well sorted and, OK, they have their weaknesses, but as a whole, they achieve what they set out to do.
Mine, the car in the second vid, is a car that I have owned for 7 years as a standard 132bhp car. I have developed it (along with Gary, the guy who is driving the Evo) to its present state, which is 320bhp and just under 300lb/ft and all that whilst still using the standard unmachined crank, standard exhaust manifold and standard head gasket/head bolts on the factory intended configuration and capacity of 1600cc and 8 valves,
It was built for top speed and has achieved a proven 168.8mph, which is one of the reasons the Evo mauled it off the line, but to reel a 350bhp Evo in like that suggests that it is reasonably powerful, having had such a deficit to make up from the start.
How many of you can say that your Impreza is running 2.5 times the power that it left the factory with?
Chill guys and less of the comments wishing terrible things to people like us.
