They were actually goading the Impreza to take the bait so they could race and presumably show the size of their dicks as they flew past. Yes given a clear lane they would have gone past without too much difficulty even 'with this clutch problem', but that is hardly sensible on a busy dual carriageway.

I know of the car and its on PF and its well sorted and not a 'chav' car

There are some Fords out there, even RS Turbo's that are incredibly well sorted and, OK, they have their weaknesses, but as a whole, they achieve what they set out to do.
Mine, the car in the second vid, is a car that I have owned for 7 years as a standard 132bhp car. I have developed it (along with Gary, the guy who is driving the Evo) to its present state, which is 320bhp and just under 300lb/ft and all that whilst still using the standard unmachined crank, standard exhaust manifold and standard head gasket/head bolts on the factory intended configuration and capacity of 1600cc and 8 valves,
It was built for top speed and has achieved a proven 168.8mph, which is one of the reasons the Evo mauled it off the line, but to reel a 350bhp Evo in like that suggests that it is reasonably powerful, having had such a deficit to make up from the start.
How many of you can say that your Impreza is running 2.5 times the power that it left the factory with?
