Morning chaps, well i got there ok with no problems! first few runs we found the new clutch was slipping, Andy guessed the cylinder was at fault - we undid a pipe to drain some fluid and that fixed it - i do like cheap repairs!

Did a few runs then turned the boost up to 1.4 bar and popped a hose on the intercooler(cheap clips that came with front mount) we fixed that and it was all go again.

We struggled to hold it at 1.4 due to misfire - plug gaps not set right Andy thinks or new coil packs needed, i was going fit new coils but never got time.

Not sure how much quicker it is as i only had one hose clamp spare so took it steady on the way home. I will re-gap the plugs and see how it goes. Does seem to pull much harder in 4th now

I seem to have a strange noise on over run now, not sure if its the box or something under the car thats loose, or if it's since we sorted the clutch. Knowing my luck it will be the box.

I have to say Andy really knows his stuff i would have never know how to fix the clutch etc. He has told me how to up the boost to 1.4 again once i have sorted the misfire, which got worse the closer i got to home so i'm guessing the coils are duff as the hotter they get the less effective they are.(so andy tells me)

Glad your all happy with your mapping sessions, i will report back when i get my misfire sorted and have reset the boost to 1.4.
