I've mailed Andy to ask when he needs deposit and were we are meeting.

Also gave him brief spec of my car.

Got an out of office saying Andy is away till the 15th of June.

Andrew.

Default apex i and remap

I would be very interested in an apexi ecu and remap if there is any space going.

What would be the total price i would have to pay including the ecu from andy the fc comander and the remap plus the vat, i would just like to have a total figure everything included.

Thanks

Andy

Hi simplyscooby,

Unfortunately, i dont think Andy Forest will be able to squeeze anyone else in to the 2 days he`s with us as we`ve already squeezed another in...Was suppose to be a 4 man deal, but managed to get it to 5.

He`s actually away till the 15th so we cant ask him for definate, but will check it out for you when he is back.

Regarding the cost, you would be looking in the region of £286 for the mapping and then the cost of the Apexi ECU. If you wanted Andy to fit aswell, there would obviously be an additional charge as for that...

Cheers m8...

Hi Andrew

I will be staying in Shiptonthorpe and it would be ideal if you could come
there for mapping

Cool, could just do with a postcode and the name of a hotel if that`s where Andy is staying so we can meet there....?

mmmm getting a bit worried about that Andrew.

Harveys meant to be supplying my wrapped headers and up pipe as well as fitting everything along with my new turbo. Trouble is I haven't heard from him for a while. He did tell me 10th and 17th June were out of the question to do the work due to holidays but I haven't had any contact since the start of June.

Needless to say I'm running out of time and I have a wedding on the 24th so that weekend is pretty much out as well. This is going to be close!!!! Might ring Paul Stablers and try and get some more info.

I mailed Harvey last night asking to get in touch when he can so watch this space. If you have any look with Paul let me know, i may be able to get an up-pipe from him.

ok mate made a bit of progress............

Harvey has not been well at all by all accounts. Spoke to his other half and it sounds like he's been in a pretty bad way.

She's going to have a word with him tonight and ring me at home to look at dropping my car off with them over the next week or so given the deadline to get things sorted for the mapping session. Pretty decent of her and I'm very grateful.

I'll mention an upipe for you if you want? Assuming I drop the car off on Saturday I could collect it for you if he has one ready?

The nearest shell garages to where Andy will be staying are as follows.

J36 of M62 (roughly 15 miles from Shiptonthorpe)
One just on outskirts of Driffield on the A614, roughly 15 miles
Hull Road in York, roughly 20 miles

If you can pick a pipe up that would be a real do. I will pay harvey via paypal and let him know you are collecting it.

I'll pm you my mobile number to sort out picking up etc.

Going fit my ecu and AVC-R tomorrow and see if i can finish front mount off. Got the rest of my headers to port and wrap. Injectors are going away to be cleaned before fitting, ordered some new coils just in case mine are a bit duff.

Got to fit coilovers and new brakes as well!! oh and new rocker cover gaskets and turbo heat wrap kit thingy.

Think i will swop the plugs for NGK 7's instead of 6's and change oil and filter.

Hopefully thats it other than making a cold air feed for filter...god it's never ending.

Discard all the original boost control pipework as some parts have hidden restrictors !
Pipe "COM" direct to the actuator and "NO" to the turbo pressure nipple. "NC" vents either to atmosphere or back into the air intake if you prefer (no difference to performance) Any issues here I can sort out on the day for you no problem.

Postcode for first meeting up has been passed on via email, thought best not to broadcast on a bbs incase the wrong eyes are viewing

Thanks for that Andy. Having thought about it I won't be able to pipe it up until I meet you anyway as I will be driving up using the stock ECU! Will make sure everything is in place though.
