The night I've got off work... Fraziers on lates!!! Typical

 

Didn't stay long but our first on tour seemed to be a success !!!

Any comments good or bad

 

Very pleasant surroundings. Food looked nice. Not much for kids to do (but then, not much at HwH). Radio mast could be a problem for some though, as at least one found out this evening, apparently.

And it only took me 10 mins to get there. Bit longer to get home tho, due to accident on east bound A13.

All in all from me.

 

Have to say the staffing at the Halfway House tonight was APPAULING

20 mins to get a pint

 

not a bad venue, even better considering it's about 5mins for me

Good to see Supercue hasn't changed one bit even though it's only been about a year

Watch out for next months venue, hopefully there'll be no mast to cause havoc

 

Food weren't bad, but half food order came out half an hour after I had finished what I was given, and that was after me telling them they had forgotten ..... Add to that, lot's of people were leaving early, unlike a HH meet.

Wasn't very impressed with the food, especially when you look at how much it costs and what you get at the lodge.

Nate, the only reason we left early was that i had a huge allergic reaction to some medication on Tuesday so i was still recovering from that!!

Was quite a nice place I thought, very relaxed, although I think it could be a problem come the winter months when it is too cold to stand outside. The bar area wasn't very big inside.

Also I believe kids weren't allowed in the bar area?...is that right? That will obviously be a problem for anyone wanting to bring them along. Ok when it is warm and sunny, not nice if it is cold and wet.

The mast wasn't a problem for me personally, but its not nice other people having to worry whether their car will start or not.

Another thing I noticed was that most of the carparking around the back of the pub was covered with trees....not good for Bufty's!!! No one wants bird poo or tree sap all over their motor!
