This thread's gone a bit flat...is the meet still on for this weekend peeps??
Looks like Newark it is then...Lord Teds @ 3pm?
Well i had a unfortunate incident last weekend
I was having a late night/early morning spirited drive round the country roads, overtaken 1 car which just happened to be an unmarked skoda octivia rs....
He subsiquently pulled me over boo hoo
Im now awaiting my fate...

Yea ricardo and peeps..It was the "Red One" So that'l be his name hehe!
Funny thing was, the first thing he said when he pulled me up was 'my clutch stinks, hows yours?' His rad fan was blowing away, so he must have been really tonking it to keep up round the bends..

Good to see folks today but 7 scoobs for a first joint meet wasn't that impressive . Maybe its folks away for the summer, I don't know. You see so many scoobs around the lincs area are people not interested or don't know of Scoobynet? Its not like we are a bunch of boyracers or total petrolheads, yes we enjoy our cars but its more a social thing. Hopefully it will pick up .
A couple of things for the diary:
1. BBQ/pub meet with the Fenland Flat Fours at Cowbit just outside Spalding. Haven't got a date yet but it will be late August and on a Friday night usually 7:30ish. Come on Lincs scoobs lets stretch that bungie

2. Late summer run to Skegness
, either Sunday 3rd or Sunday 10th September, could folks let me know which date would be better. We had approx 25 Scoobs for this in April so lets try and top this.

FFF's meet
The meet with the FFF's is Friday the 25th Aug 7:30pm at the Dun cow pub, Cowbit near Spalding. BBQ is £5 per head so if you could let me know ASAP if any of you Lincs Scoobs fancy it .
A possible meet point could be Holdingham roundabout just north of Sleaford (where the A17 and A15 meet) at 7pm for a convoy down.
Come on lads support your local Scoobies .

sorry i didn't make the last meet at newark but i didn't know about it! should make the next one if there is one at the end of this month?

Also I want to start organising a bit more of a club structure for us lot. Wolfie, what do you think? Shall we get our heads together, and anyone else that wants to contribute would be more than welcome.

Blyton is on Sept 30th - see 'WYIOC events' for more details. I know its a fair way off yet but i suppose they just want to get things sorted early.
