it does say on the sheet that stands and competitors can gain access from 7.45 . and the gates open to the public at 9

I think competitors should be in for 830, for a briefing etc and stands for traders,sellers and dancers et al

Good morning mate your both more than welcome to join the main convoy for the run up there.

We are meeting tonight to discuss the actual club stand and timings as well as other club business. originally we only had spaces for an allocated 20 club cars on the stand, and were over that limit with a few new members coming on board (hopfully not just for this event)

We will be in a better position after the meeting tonight to confirm an actual place on the club stand, If we can get every one in then we certainly will, the more the merrier.

Al not sure if you can get hold of Chris or Shaun and confirm if we can move the tapes out a bit

Guys,

I'll opt out of parking in the WYIOC designated area.
I need to head off early (about 14:30) to get to the Hard-Fi gig in Leeds, so it makes sense for someone who's going to be there all day to take the slot.

I'll still meet you all at the Trading Post at 9am but I'll park in the car park when we get there.

So I guess our list now looks like this...

Phil may not be necassary mate if we can make space we certainly will.

We will have a better chat on the planning stage tonight.

I am not sure if Alan has seen this yet ALAN!!!! or mailed Chris or Shaun to see if the space provided was generous or the tapes could be stretched a little.

Last year it was just a square section with supermarket style side by side parking so no scope for manipulation, the club stand area had a priveldged parking area close to the track

Mick. I've been back to the hospital this morning fopr a checkup and physio.... back at home doing some work...

Anyway. Shaun has responded saying that we can be there at 8:30 to setup. So we'll leave the TP (on time) at 8.

I'm waiting on the news for expanding the stand area, but don't want to bug Shaun anymore as I've bugged him about the times to get in... Hopefully he'll respond soon.

no problem mate, just a bit worried it would get messy on the day with too many cars for too little space.

Hows the leg doing ? or have you got a drawer full of ralgex and strong pain killers.

Hope you have got a deck chair for Sunday or even a wheel chair, we could take it in turns, pushing you around the event. Possibly even enter you in the 1/4 mile

£10 for the next year or so. The club isn't about taking money and we don't have a clipboard...

We've not had any subs for quite a while as we don't have anything to get as a club in general, as we just enjoy each others company, the cars and the get togethers... But with the show season coming on, we're going to take subs and buy some drinks, beer, food etc to have on a barbie and give free to members and friends... plus we'll look at updating the gayzeebo and we've just purchased some first aid stuff and fire extinguishers to take on the runs... and other things like that.....

However, you do get a few stickers for the car (club website address, couple of pigs and a 06 club window sticker) with that price and we do have discounts with various re-sellers... The new website will explain more when it comes back online shortly..

Not forgetting the £5 payment to Scoobynet
for the WYIOC badge under your user name, should you wish to show your an active supporter
This is also a yearly subsription payable direct to scoobynet under the UserCP clicky at the top
and under paid subsrciption or Clicky

oh and club T'shirts £10 each see T'shirt thread
