Why an earth someone with 30k cash would want to go for a R34 (or Rxx) Skyline these days is completely beyond me. They can't handle and they look like they just made it out of the 80's never mind the 90's. Sorry lads but they are pants.

As for the FQ400, they have huge reliability problems with a very questionable warranty backup.

Second hand EVO IX 9GT maybe for approx 23k @ 400bhp?

M5 is a brill car.

As for the Skyline - sorry but I dont think paying for a 'classic performance car' is at the top of my personal bullet points. It has comfort - yes, it can have awesome straight line performance - yes but its shortfalling (and severe shortfalling) in handling gives it a negative. I personally dont like the looks either as it reminds me of a barge. However, car buying is very subjective and everyone far ranging tastes is what makes us individual.

Whatever you go for, I'm sure you will more than pleased with the result.

Once again thanks.

M5 looked at new one last year & drove one on friday. Amazing car, but to get the best out of it, i would have to use it everyday & its too much money to have lying around not doing much.

R34 GTR is a bit dated now & tbh i have never really like it, doesnt float my boat.

TCB123 - I have sent an email Depending on price we may be able to do a deal I am travelling at the moment so bear with me if i dont reply within the next 24hrs.

Thanks Again

Sorry!!!! Why do people slag wonderfull cars though? I've bought and sold some rediculous cars but i would never run a car down unless i'd had the privillage of owning one first. I never used to like GT2 Porsches and Lambos until i got to ride in a couple......still really not my cup of tea for different reasons but i wouldn't mask the point of i can't actually affored one by quoting "I don't like it".......just my two penneth
I'd go for a lightly modded GT-R R34, fantastic cars for the money. Just sold my R33 GT-R and am now looking for a 34 at sensible money.....well i am an evil dealer

how about a used Ferrari 355 (it's almost got 4 seats!!)
or a 550

NO point in ar$ing about with lesser cars - after all, it's a weekend toy.

Other options are
M3 CSL
645 (new shape)
M5
Monaro VXR
Audi RS4 (either new or old shape - they're all good!)
