They wouldn't need a big scoop, just a big bag! If they aren't prepared to clean up after their 'osses then they should just stick to fields!

most people i know that have horses do, its only when they go to shows that they have to venture out with the horse in its carrier. i understand what you are saying but there is no need to suggest they should be put down.

And this is one for the people of Hemel Hempstead, we have a dual-carridge way starting at the 'Magic Round-about' goes for about a mile and then you come to another round-about [where a Tesco is sited], i feel the need to point out that the right hand lane is for overtaking not for ******* Tesco!!!!!, people will join that lane at the start and crawl all the way to Tesco, 90% of the time creating a rolling road block with the person in the slow lane...... Get out my fookin' way!

I used to hate 4x4s until I drove one - hired a landcruiser in OZ to go to a sand island... Absolutely brilliant vehicles... I could see instantly why so many people liked them. Don't knock 'em until you've tried them
Every journey is an adventure in a Land Rover

Back on topic though...

I hate: everyone whos car is bigger than mine, smaller than mine, slower than mine, faster than mine, more expensive than mine, cheaper than mine, newer than mine, older than mine and every driver who is older than me, younger than me, worse driver than me, better driver than me...

BUT most of all those people who are on the bit of road I want to drive on!

But I try too stay cool, calm and collected

I personally hate those vehicles that look like they have no one driving them because the driver has the seat reclined so far you can't see them!

How stupid is that?? They're craning their neck to see high enough up or are arcing their back and hanging off the steering wheel just so they can see! Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Regarding the Horse issue, i take it Top Gears idea of the 2 Horses didn't take off?, one where you live and one where you go idea, save them bloody boxes on the road, or make them walk to where they're going.

Scrap that idea there'd be **** everywhere

Golf GTi, dunno why, but everytime someone if driving like an idiot they seem to be in one of these, may just be me but when I have a passenger in the car now they see one and say "here we go", cos they just know im going to have a rant.

Not biased against them as such, just must be a few around here driven by idiots, but am nuetral on the horse issue.

Yep that's happened to me too. What got me it was a 40 odd year old woman and her young daughter in the front seat. And didn't like the thought of being overtaken by someone driving a Renault Clio (My run-a-bout). Even though she insisted in driving 40 MPH on a 60 MPH road. Then the stupid bint decides to try and race me as I am pulling the overtake manouvre.

Volvo 340s or Austin Metros, not many around these days but you know when you come up behind one that you are going to be inconvenienced.

Nissan Micra drivers, always lose the will to live when I see them (seem to attract a certain type of driver)

Also Taxi drivers, seem to believe the road traffic act doesn't apply to them

Not the car, just the tit behind the wheel usually.
Usually flashing me or mouthing slow down at me.

anyone driving at less than 50 in a NSL.
Anyone who brakes to the point of stopping for every bend obstacle or hazzard.
Anyone who stops at roundabouts when the exit is clear.
Anyone who sits in the outside lane on the Mway despite the fact you've been behind them for the last ten minutes.
Anyone that has their mirrors directed at the floor.

When in an under-powered, but sweet handling car and you want to string a few corners together. More-powerful-presitge-car driver in front insists on a steady 40mph, dropping to a painful 30 if there's even a hint of a kink in the road. You pluck up the courage to go past, spot a gap, drop a gear, mirror-signal-manoeuvre and then......the bugger floors it and leaves you exposed to danger!

Why, oh why, do they do that? This happened in my old 106 Rallye and my Zetec-S, although I fully accept that trying it in my 998cc Metro was inciting and worthy of retaliation. I specifically recall the unflinching, demonic stare of a head-scarf wearing horsey type in her Rangie; utterly prepared to leave me out despite oncoming traffic. I lift-off, drop back in behind......40......brake light......30.........40.......40......brake light.

Agreed. Especially when on a back road, they then drive with one wheel on the other side of the road, just to make sure you can't overtake them, cos their speed is the right speed .........

Then when you do pass them, they flash their lights, and shake their fist at you, as you have clearly just tried to kill them
Had something very similar the other day. Mid 30s ish guy in a S2000, was in front of me, he booted off, I followed, but I kept catching him at the corners as he was hopeless (probably not the cars fault) then he gets the hump and brake tests me, then blocks my overtake attempts. Then his 20ish GF has a go at me.

Yup and the people that flash you who are coming the other way when theres still 3-400M of empty tarmac between the pair of you.

Oh and People that dont get on with it. Sit at Junctions waiting for a mile of clear traffic before pulling out.

And people that wont move over on the motorway and instead match the speed of the cars to their left or right creating a massive log jam behind.

Had some woman in a Discovery do that to me last weekend!

Err thats your fault. You are joining the carriageway, so YOU have to match your speed to a gap. Either by accelerating (my method) or slowing down. Its not the jpb of the people on tha Motorway/Dual carrieageway to move at all.

I bet half of the old people on the roads didn't even have to take a driving test 'in their day'

What p***es me off the most is when at traffic lights there are two lanes, you decide to go in the outside lane, and the muppet in front doesn't bother to indicate to turn right until the lights change to green

Mines very specific - P, R or S plate diesel Passats in that dull green colour.

Driving a green ten year old diesel VW doe not give you ANY cause for smugness or a licence to sit in whatever lane you like at 55mph because that's what you read in the fule economy figures. Unless it's when you decide to overtake on a hill when you have to drop a couple of gears and wind it up to a heady 67 and take three frikken miles to execute the manouver. Maybe you just had a bad day at the boot sale.

I feel the stupidity on our roads is not something a test would resolve. These people are born stupid, most of it is common sense.

It may not be their job but it is incredibly ignorant not to ease into L2 if it is clear to do so.
